ALL companies are good at that!

Today, my head hurts, I feel queasy, my mouth and eyes are dry, and I want to go back to bed.

Hangovers suck! I haven't had one in ages, I'd forgotten how horrible they are. :(

Isn't this about your halfway point on your leave? How is it going? I am still jealous

The halfway point will be sometime this coming week. :) Still waiting to feel relaxed. As usual, I've scheduled too much to do. At least I'll have plenty of time when I get home to recover from all this traveling...

Looking forward to Spring Break. Since neither Myles nor I have classes on Fridays we will be able to head home to the Mountain Thursday afternoon and won't have to be back at school until Sunday the 28th. :)

Heidi will be flying in Friday too. :)

We just need to muddle through this coming week.
For Myles--
When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love

For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

I've found the best way to avoid a hangover is to stay drunk

This is how I felt last night. Absolutely wonderful. I love my gorgeous nephew and my baby boydog Moose. I also love my girls, Terry, Julie, Heatherly, Karen and me.

Thanks MM. The kids are cute aren't they? I could not love that human kid more if I tried. He's so happy and wonderful and I love the way he laughs when I hold him up and then bring him in and kiss his chubber cheeks and then lift him again and tell him he's my beautiful boy. I also love that when he starts fussing with anyone else, if his mom isn't there to grab him, I can grab him and he quiets down right away. The one time he started fussing with me I just lifted him, rubbed noses and said, "Whatchoo fussing for silly boy." and he quieted right down. He's so getting a moped despite his Mom's wishes when he gets old enough. :P

I guess I'd better start looking for a little teeny letter sweater for him, huh?

Cute boy. Clearly he's a lady's man!

I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion

Thanks guys. I had an interesting day. I was supposed to be late for work since I was going to drive Bloodguard Bob home after his spinal shots today but he got out early and so I was on time. We were somewhat busy and then I had a customer come in and ask if we could convert mini dv to something he could watch. We don't normally provide that service but I happened to have my little stealth camcorder on me that has mini dv capability. Turns out the video was sent by his wife and it's the first time he's ever seen his nine month old son in anything other than pictures. I thought he was going to bust into tears of joy just watching the lcd display on my tiny camera. I'm gonna pack my mac and both cameras tomorrow and try to figure a way to make it work. I already found the software for the stealth camera for pc so that might just be the simple answer. If we can't figure it out then I'll send him to a video conversion place but before I do I'm gonna let him sit down in a corner of the dps and watch every second of that video on my cameras. If you guys had seen the enraptured look on his face during the few minutes he was watching you would understand. And the quaver in his voice when we were trying to figure it out and the guy said, "Please, can I just watch a bit more while you work?" Even Jacob was like, "Did you see the look on his face?" and I was like, "Yeah, don't go there, too emotional."

I've been great. I'm waiting for this topic to fill to 9,999 posts so I can start the new one (seeing as I am the father of all this mayhem; ahem, Menolly  !).

I can't wait when the time feels right to begin again on my 2nd novel. Got Part I done since 2008, though it may need one more re-write it to make it have the HD clarity I want it to (while still retaining the narrowed emotions of the scene-stealing supporting character).

Today was so exciting I had to get up half an hour early even though I had a day off. The morning was half perfection, half ddddrrrrraaaaagggggg.

The afternoon started off poor but at about 4.06 I was out of my seat cheering, and at 4.45 it got even better.

All in all, a good first day. :D

No, but after a good day £wise, we also did a bit of celebrity spotting this evening. We were sat at the next table to Jolian Lescott and Gareth Barry, England international footballers. It was hilarious watching the dolly-birds parading back and forward in front of them (and us, by accident!) I know that might not be a pc term, but what else can you can them?

Since I have only a vague notion of what "dolly-bird" means in American, I'll let it stand.
