I think I should make this announcement here, though it relates to in-game knowledge.
Dorian spent a large chunk of XP to purchase the Renowned Warrant 'Talent'. It fits with the history of the Amphaels themselves - granted a Warrant by an Imperial Saint, an ancient Dynasty themselves . . . possibly even more so than records indicate. In game terms, it grants a +10 to interaction with people who know and respect the Warrant system. Since the Imperium is somewhat analogous to medieval feudalism, imagine the Warrant to be someting on the standard of a Feudal ruler being granted a title from the Pope, like Defender of the Faith etc. Basically, amongst RT's, the Amphael Warrant is of a super-rare and incredibly illustrious variety.
They're still borderline broke, though
EDIT: And I should say, I mention this mostly for background context. PC's won't be influenced by this unless they want to be. The Warrant itself is larger than any one RT and, sometimes, the more prestigious the Warrant, the harder it is for an RT to retain Dynastic power. Further, from the crew's perspective, the office of Rogue Trader becomes a symbol to be exalted. This can also mean that, if the current RT doesn't live up to his office, there is justification for mutiny and rebellion. Confucianists would call it 'the Mandate of Heaven'. If the ruler is good, Heaven brings good harvests and plenty; if the ruler is wicked, Heaven brings tempests and rebellion.
Enough of my social history lecture.

Don't think of them as druggies. Think of them as a captive market for the pharmaceutical sales in the various existing clans.
Plus, their morale can't be as bad as the rest of the crew... they'll actually bring things up a notch. (They're only having their homes destroyed and being forced to move. Relatively cheerful lot, really.)

Sure, if you want to go from a rating of Crack crew to Sub-Par . . .Garrius Amphael wrote:Seriously considering firing the entire crew and taking on a new one. Useless bunch of whiners. I think Garrius can't handle criticism too well

Apologies for lack of posting as late, currently doing a mini-tour. Thanks Montresor for moving my post forward. If Praetus wishes to initiate the conversation thats fine and dandy, otherwise I will post tomorrow.

Haha. That reminds me of a joke I was making with a friend of mine when we were creating characters for Lore's Rogue Trader game - making acquisition rolls for "weapons" to make use of the Thrown Weapon Training (Universal).
We were wondering if that training included throwing people, and then we started joking about throwing some random guy with a mono upgrade, or a chair with a power field.

Would you allow this in a game?

I imagine throwing bullets would be covered by Throwing (Universal).
