Wait -- are you saying that you gave the Chrons to a friend and he actually *liked* them? You will have to tell us your secret!

Welcome to the Watch!
I actually got a few people to read the 1st Chrons years ago, before the 2nd were out. One didn't seem to notice the glory that was before him. The other two were impressed. Not so much that they're here, but hey.

Cool, welcome. I've run into a couple of real life people who've read them, 1 enjoyed them, but, isn't deep about analyzing stories, and the other hated the journey because it was depressing. Outside of this site, on the 'net, I've run into, I believe 3 readers ( 1 is a rarely active, but, often lurking member of this site, who I believe introduced me to you all, and the other two I do my best to keep updated with new TCTC news)

Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries
Blow away dandelion
I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.

(just kidding)
hello everybody - I am 'Crusader', an avid reader of TCTC since 1977.
Wow - what a website! I am genuinely overwhelmed with the size, content and following I have found here - just cannot believe I have not come across it before now, but very glad that I have.
Just FYI, I am an author, (of tourist guidebooks - well, somebody's got to do it!), based in the UK and I look forward to getting to know some of you in the future through this Forum.
TCTC is my most-read series of books in my entire library, and I have literally 'recycled' the series from start to finish since 1977 - there is always a volume available on the kitchen table to pick up and read with a coffee or two.
An admission - I wear a white gold wedding ring! OK - don't all groan at once! It is my personal token to the love I have and the involvement I have shared with this most wonderful of stories. My wife of 23 years has no idea to this day why I chose it, and probably never will!
My escape from the trials and tribulations of daily life are found by immersing myself in the pages of The Chronicles and the life of the Land - and long may it continue to be so!
greetings , wayfriend!
Two good points! - first, I'm not an internet 'surfer' - its usually all work related, unfortunately, but I do have a bit of spare time on my hands right now, and out of curiosity I got to looking up some info on SRD, and thats how I ended up here.
second - 'cruise-aider', yep I like that! got to be some way I can incorporate it into my next publication - if there's a 'way, friend' I'll let you know!
thanks for the welcome, BTW.
