The Next Elohimfest????

Post by Shuram Gudatetris »

Been hunting around looking for info on if /when there will be another Elohimfest, but have not found anything substantial. Will there be one this year? Ever again? I would be very excited to go this time, as this would be the first one of which I would be aware before the occurrence.

So far, no plans have been put forth for a 'fest this year. I think the general consensus is that waiting til next year, after AATE has been released, would be best.

Some talk has been made about a meeting of Watchers this year at the World Fantasy Convention this year at the end of October in Columbus, Ohio. But that wouldn't be an elohimfest.

Slightly ironic timing...just yesterday [roughly around the time of the initial post] I saw a commercial/ad-like thing about some girl traveling to meet all her facebook friends, and thought "Damn, I wish I had a year off and a lot of money to travel around and meet all the Watchers."...even thought it would be cool to write up all the meetings/experiences with video snips or photos.
I know I'd find it hell-a-fun.
Ahh, dreams....

the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

When three or more Watchers get together, it's *always* an Elohimfest, imho. ;)

Well, everyday tries to be a fest here, with Beorn, Hyperception and me. But whether that would be an elohimfest is open to debate. :hearts:

It's amazing how you can read a word literally hundreds of times without knowing the actual definition
