Not just you, Autarch.
This last turn for cho finally caught up with her in a way even I noticed...
And if you notice, I have not pursued that line of questioning in that game either since...

And you're not a meanie, per se.
Just much more direct in what you mean than certain others.
Which, I for one, appreciate.
Even if I do moan and groan about it.

See Syl's avatar?
The look in his eye tells you
That he's serious

What is in his hand
Is no cryptic hint either
The message is clear

LOL, DPJ.

It's no big deal. I was trying to be facetious.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I think it was more "Oh noes. Syl done TOLE me what would happen, but I was dumb and did it anyway, and the bad thing happened. So this turn I did it again, and I hope the bad thing doesn't happen."

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.

Also known as: Chaos Theory.

But Odin is only a dealer because he's also a junkie. I'm told that's a bad business model. But it does allow for a lot more leniency towards annoying junkie behavior.

Ooo, Syl.
If you would have any idea how to say the Latin phrase that is in my signature in Hebrew instead, I would greatly appreciate it as it would fit in character for Alína far better than Latin...
ךאשונ תישתדל לעזור
Rishon, tishtadel l'azor,
ואז אל תזק
v'az, al tazek.

Above all else, hasten to help.
And then, do no harm.

Seriously, Xar, where's results?!?!????!!!????

Oh! Damn!! Sorry about that! See how they got me to do that?? Don't worry, all will be punished this turn. They wanna use persuasion to get me to do bad stuff like that, they're gonna pay!

As for Aesir, it won't be for at least another week.

Well, if I was fluent in Latin, it'd be easy. "First... Second..."?

Sorry about that, for some reason I thought you also knew Latin...

With a little help, I got that off of wikipedia.

Primum succurrere ~ Above all else (first), hasten to help/aide/succour,
secundum non nocere ~ then (second) do no harm.

I had hoped to have them out last night. But a computer was not working this weekend, and it slowed me down a lot. But we got it going again, and I got most of the turn done. Should be out by, I hope, tomorrow night.

No, nothing in the line of CHs. Not much cryptic happens on Narie. Heh. And the posts made recently tell more than a CH would anyway.

EDIT: Let me change that, and say I'm pretty surprised at how things worked out with Agape's 2nd Prophet.

Hey, life happens.
We all know that.

Looks like maybe this mid-month will be filled with the circumstances of us meddling in three different locales. ;)

You all have results. I'm sure I missed more this time around than usual, but I wanted to get them out before going to bed. Email me with problems and questions. And I'll get an Events entry up tomorrow.

I have a feeling Agapé may seriously need his help next season. Though I may have a means of playing around that, if need be...

There's something I want to discuss a little. I've never had random events. There are no buried artifacts to stumble on. No race of mages or whatever. No meteors falling. Nothing. (The sort-of exception was Koma. He was my idea, but he wasn't an NPC. And he, alas, doesn't come around any longer.)

My hope was that all of you would make all the types of things you're making, and flesh out the world. Which you have. :D The possibility that some of it would lead to random events was in my head all along.

And that's happened a few times now. So that's all I'll say on the subject. If anything happens, and you don't know if it's the action of another deity or a RE, and you want to know, you'll have to look into it.

Anyone and everyone who knows are welcome to PM me.
I honestly haven't the slightest idea.

Do I always post in the Events thread when anyone misses a turn? Do I ever post in the Events thread when anyone misses a turn? I didn't post in the Events thread when Tepes or Lliannon Aine left Narie, so am I likely to post when anyone misses a turn?

Alcifer is gone from Narie and from the game. Permanently. (And not having posted the same when Lliannon Aine and Tepes left was an oversight. I'm making this up as I go.)

New deadline is a week from now, Friday May 28th.

The Troon map is updated. I'll get to the original map pretty soon. Maybe. heh
