Why would I want to turn an artifact into a temple? I'd make a new temple from scratch. Not that I have any artifacts anyway.Menolly wrote:Not to mention additional DRP to turn an artifact in to a temple, and even further DRP to build the Ark or whatever is used to protect it as it is transported.
And why spend DRP on the box to carry the temple? Just spend money.
Wow. In like two sentances, you managed to correct the Autarch on his own rulings (without disagreeing with him at all), and also play the "neener neener, I thought of that already" game.Menolly wrote:My understanding is detailed ritual for both is expected for it to work. The Autarch wrote:...and setting it up after moving it and putting it away before are time consuming.

Good for you, Menolly.
Why would you want to check your PMs to make sure they DO agree, when you're pretty sure they do? More "neener neener, I thought of that already"?Menolly wrote:hmm...Autarch wrote:In the sense that you couldn't get any use out of it if you moved it more than once a month.
Will need to recheck messages, but I am pretty sure this was included in what I was told. For me, I just couldn't imagine needing to relocate the portable temple I have planned more than once a turn/month. Like our divine artifacts, I imagine overuse would reduce efficacy.
And while we're at it, why didn't you SHARE any of this info with us? Would have saved me the trouble of asking, and Syl the trouble of responding.
You're really bored in that airport, huh?
