Why don't the Clones in Ep. IV sound like Jango?

Talk about both the movies and the books.

Why don't the Clones in Ep. IV sound like Jango?

Post by aTOMiC »

Why don't the clones in A New Hope have Jango Fett's distinctive accent? Mayhap the Troopers in Ep IV are based on another host dna sample. If that is the case. Who might have been the host? Jar Jar perhaps? Has anyone seen a Trooper without his helmet in the later films? Hmmmm......

Obi-Wan. I'm sure he'd deny it, but we all know what a pathelogical liar he is..... :screwy:

I have thought about this too. My conclusion is that the guy who played jango was infact cast after the stormtroopers. This means that they are older than the doner that gave his DNA; thus making jango younger than his "children". Of course this is biologically impossible and was too much for space-time to take. Reppeled by so much impossibility reality was torn apart and formed two completely seperate universes. This also accounts for all the other inconsistencies. When Lucas filmed the first trilogy he went through his temporal gate and all was well. But when it came to the second trilogy he was forced to go to the other reality because obviously time moves forwards, not backwards. Understand? :D

Of course I don't understand. :-)
If Lucas follows through with the "WILD" rumour, he might dubb in the actor from EP II into all three of the first Trilogy. Thus secondtrilogyizing the first trilogy. :-)

Why wouldn't GL just dub in Jango's voice whenever the Stormtroopers talked in the 1st series?

Because that would suck. (Not that that's stopped him before, unfortunately...)

A pretty common theory is that the Stormtroopers of Ep IV-VI, the real movies, are in fact not clones - most or all of the clones were killed or lost in the doubtless lengthy wars between ep II and IV, and the Empire took the sensible way out and recruited cheaper human replacements.

I think that makes a lot of sense. Too bad they went too cheap, and didn't train any to shoot straight....

That is precisely what I'm saying in the quote.
