Question Storyteller...
Would Maleficia and Striga not be considered their own Disciplines, separate from Dark Thaumaturgy? That's how they read to me as I transcribed them, but perhaps as a n00b to the game I am misunderstanding something?

One reason why I'm glad Alina's avatar is an original piece of art from a Watcher. lorin's "gypsy girl" fit my own concept of a middle-aged Jewish widow after her embrace in the Dark Ages to a "T."
...I still miss Kahlida though, I must admit.
For the characters I've played so far, she was definitely the hottest.

So, a small note on "losing humanity". One of the main themes of the Vampire game system is your steady struggle with losing your grip on what makes you human. Over time, decades or centuries, vampires tend to have less and less control over their beasts. The more horrible things they see, or do, the more the horror fails to mean anything.
In this case, Sabine killed two men in cold blood. Her 'losing a humanity point' really means that when she did it, she failed to care that it was horrible. She does not feel bad about it. In fact, she's just fine with the whole idea. If she'd felt bad, that would be her conscience rising up and feeling compassion, which would be counted as a success on the roll.
In other news, please note the new picture for "Orden" of the Malkavian Clan. A peculiar form of OCD that causes him to speak in 17 syllable blurbs seemed the best way, especially for one who's task is Order. (As opposed to Chaos.)

Yeah, I wanted it to just be a quiet nod the the real D(r)PJ.
Unless you'd like to actually play full-time. Then, by all means, you can just take over the character as you see fit.
In other news, it looks like we will actually be closing on the condo tomorrow. The movers come on Monday to pack us up, and on Tuesday to move us in. I'm not sure how much I'll be getting online between Friday and Wednesday.

No worries, Seska. My own logistical issues seem to have trumped your inability to post anyway.
So, just as an update, one of the potential new players mentioned the game to some other people he knows, none of whom are Watchers. They've suggested that a "new players read here" thread might be a good thing for me to add. To help people get caught up on what's going on.
So, I shall endeavour to make such a thing exist.
Also, in talking to Avatar, it looks like I will be allowed to have a second sub-forum, this one hidden to only players (and primary avatars). I'm going to move all of the rules threads into that one, so the story threads won't be so cluttered with other stuff.
So, I just ran out of room in my Saved Items box for this account, and I had to delete all the PMs that people have sent me over the past couple years. If there's some kind of rules declaration that I've made to any of you, please bring it up to me, and I'll go add it to the rules threads instead.
And finally... an update on how the move is going. Well, the condo closed on time. Had to go to their office twice to sign all the forms, but it got done. Got all the utilities hooked up. And had the hardwood guy in over the weekend to sand / stain / refinish the floors. Figured we'd want to do that before getting furniture all over the place. Though... now we'll be all stressed about scuffing the floors, so... yeah. Can't really win that one.
Anyway, we got a couple wardrobes yesterday (should be delivered towards the end of the week) to help with the lack of closet space. We sat down and kind of eyeballed where we wanted all of our current furniture. Seems like a workable plan. And as I type this, the movers are in the other room packing all the stuff. Tomorrow is moving day. "Move your house to the lee of the stone."

Are we cool with assuming Ged got into the carriage for the sake of moving on? He's the only one who hasn't gotten in of the non horsebound PCs.
