Yes, but killed by Bloodguard - so presumably their bodies would be returned for replacement?

At which point some of them went home and several followed Bannor to aid the Ramen.

But at this point they were just haruchi, strong, fast and MORTAL
If we all follow Berek's code of warriors then the world would be full of the worst warriors imaginable.
