No, thank you! It would be interesting to see what people thought about it, but it's good to know that the mods here have my back so that I don't have to completly avoid this thread until mid-October!Seareach wrote:[mod edit: under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are any details past chapter one of AATE to be mentioned here. 'Tis dream to think that Reason can
Govern the reasoning creature, man.

I am Lazarus, come from the dead,
Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all!

No worries, renny, I'm with you in your curiosity. Sea was just prempting what those who have read might say ( like" it was so awesome, like when...")

AATE got leaked early, and can be read somewhere? WHERE ?!?!??!?? lol
"Who enters here, do not lose hope / Who leaves; do not rejoice / Who has not been, shall be here yet / Who has been here, shall never forget" Anonymous / discovered scratched into the wall of a cell in the KGB's Lefortovo Prison in Moscow/originally quoted in the book "Alexander Dolguns Story" (by A.Dolgun),describing the ordeals of an American citizen falsely imprisoned by the Soviet Union from 1948 to 1957.
Not 'leaked' per se. Publishers release trade paperback Advance Reader Copies (ARCs) usually to bookstores as part of getting the 'market' ready for release. The final hardcover will be identical to the ARC except for some typographic corrections.
While they are released 'not for resale', many show up on eBay.

He/She who dies with the most toys wins! Wait a minute ... I can't die!!!
I enjoyed AATE. I need to read the first two again, but I like how it ... is addressing things. However, I think my favorite is still Fatal Revenant. Followed by AATE and then Runes. We will see upon rereading where I come out.
It is also hard to place against the other series. Overall, I probably like the second chronicles best. But that is only because I felt the Power that Preserves dragged for me.
Mhoram and Foamfollower still stand out as some of the strongest characters of the series.
Hope this helps!

Spoiler
AATE was pretty good. Things really take off - some questions are finally answered and we lose some people, but the action and the writing is some of the best since White Gold Wielder. I would prefer some thing would've come out different but it is Stephan's world. All in all, a must read.
