I always pictured the Haruchai as Bengalis. Ghurkas would work well too. And I like the idea of Cliff Curtis, he looks pretty good, but when I read the books I had a pretty vivid picture in my mind of Bannor with short black ringlets of hair, so the Asian thing does not work well for me.
