3. Under Mt Thunder, to create space for a Forbidding; In Mithil Stonedown, during the marauder attack; at the entrance to Foul's Creche

Here is how I tally the Survivors' answers:

(Yes, it was a tie for next least votes, so the judge (me) decided between them.)

(Yes, the Staff of Immunity saved someone from getting voted off. Good Staff.)

(Yes, "brandish" means to wave threateningly, and so some guesses where Covenant merely held up the ring or showed the ring were not considered correct.)

Some parts that I really liked (and so reflect my votes):

"Cameraman Jenn fought with the muscular abandon of a woman who had vibrated." No one thought about a vibrator here except me?

"Savor Dam fought with the gooey abandon of a man who had expelled." ewww..... "But the Guardian showed no sign of inspecting." I would not look at it either!

well, had I pmed my answer I would have gotten 2 1/3 correct but oh well. congrats to my fellow survivors and condolences to vraith. Can't wait until the next round.

I would have submitted the showing of the ring at the council of the lords when delivering the message and that would have been wrong, but the staff elders I had correct. The other two brandishing moments that I would have gotten were entrance to foul's creche and attack at mithil stonedown. I would not have gotten the one under mt thunder because my mind thought, brandish to create space meant using the ring. Guess I need to brush up on my early chrons.

Anyway, I say bring on the next round.

I'd like to thank the fellow Survivor who was my only vote...even if she claimed not to be voting.

I'd also like to thank SRD for the obscure references that made it possible for me to endure and play another round, despite an entry that tended toward DrabLibs. The line WF referenced was as good as it got...certainly not on a par with "...the gated community does not wipe."

DPJ, if you are going to grace this thread with your stanzas, might you at least vote...or round up a friend who will?

Onward to the next round...may it be a good one and (for WF's sake) free of cable-chewing rodents.
