But that's not nearly the same thing, eh? It went for - and got! - some laughs, too. And Steel Dawn was as brutal as Rob Roy. And we could go on and on comparing. But RR is not only superbly coreographed, but I've never seen anything that comes close to looking like it's an actual duel! So real!

How bout one of the fights from Princess Bride? I remember those being awesome...I haven't watched it in about 10 years but I still remember Andre the Giant being amazing.
The rooftop fight scene between Ichi and Kakihara in Ichi the Killer was a lot of fun, but only if you let the campy nature of the movie keep you from being disgusted (well, less so than with most of the scenes in the movie).
Oh! The fight between El Topo and the Fourth Gun Master of the Desert was pretty intense! That's definitely one of the best!

Y'know, I heard recently that that moment happened because Harrison Ford had a bit of food poisoning or was just simply feeling especially ill, and it was shortened to get him back in bed quicker. Something like that scene actually happened in history (probably has a few times). When the British stormed a city in India, an english officer was confronted by an impressive looking swordsman flourishing his blade murderously. The officer calmly took his pistol out and shot him.

Fair enough.
