The sun sets, and darkness spreads across the land once more. Shortly afterwards, the vampires in the Inn of the Lion begin to wake from their day's rest.

Olaf, Seska, and Sabine were given the rooms of those they killed the night before. Alina and Gedeminas stayed with Casmir. Taduz stayed with Miecyslav. Rumor has it that Seska did not use her own room. Claudio wrote out the letter to Japheth before retiring. It is waiting for you in the main hall with Geppen.

Everyone wakes up in the previously listed order.

Knowing she has some time before everyone else is awake, Seska lounges around before dressing and entering the main hall.

I push Timmy's body out of the way. So I can open the door. Then I look like Timmy [Obfuscate 3] and go into the dining room.

I enter with my sire, we are chatting yet again about life, Unlife, our clans lineage, and other various as I'm trying to learn everything I can about my clan.

The healer comes down trailing her sire and fellow Tremere neonate. She tries to hide her frustration from watching the ease with which Gedeminas picked up what Casmir attempted to teach her last night with no success. In her mortal life her ease of learning her crafts secrets was a joy; it seemed she would not have such ease in her unlife.

Upon awakening, a brief thanks to Odin, and head downstairs, eager to be on his way...the sooner this is finished, the sooner his life can be his own once again.

Casmir is not to be found in the room with Alina and Gedeminas. On the bed where he was, his previous night's clothing are still there. Alina notices a thin layer of dust across the pillow, and maybe inside the clothing. She is reminded of seeing Wenceslas, Marchettus, and Gabrin crumble to dust the previous evening.

When he awakens, Gedeminas sees the dust that is supposedly the remains of Casper on the bed. Not yet having enough of a connection to Casper to be horrified at his 'death', especially after what he saw last night, Gedeminas decides to determine what actually happened. Assuming that anything as important as the death of the body the remains were once part of would be 'remembered' for a long time, he goes over to the ashes and begins trying to see what happened. Auspex 3 on the dust

Miecyslav is very animated and excited in his description of the clan, and some of it's luminaries. [You've read the DA Clan Novels. You know who they are.]

Theophania sits at her table in the main room, slowly twirling a lock of her hair between her fingers. As she sees "Timmy", she says "Good evening, Timmy. Have you seen Sabine?" Now using the lock of hair to gesture around the room, "I haven't seen her around anywhere, and my hair is just calling out to be stroked."

Jadviga approaches Olaf and strikes up a conversation. "So, did you know that you now own an estate in Rome itself? I've never been to Marchettus' manor, but I hear it's quite comely. All you need to do is allow the Roman Senate to let you into their city."

After <content edited>, Seska pouts a little while staring into the distance. "All of my new siblings should be awake by now. I should probably be going downstairs soon."

Mentally taking notes of who is what of my line, I try to absorb all the information I'm being given.

"The Dracon was with one who thought he was an angel in Constantinople, had a dream of humans and vampires living together, torn down by the demon infested? Ruthven's line, favored by our...eldest?"

"Yorak's domain seems a bit...odd, and the Voivode Rustovich is probably occupied with the fop's forces trying to take his land. And most of us are waging war to hold our lands, and take back what was stolen from them."

"I was not aware our lineage was so well placed, and so well learned. If my travels permit, I shall seek out some of these you have mentioned. Whether the masters or their servants. I'm not aware of our ways of introduction, a letter of introduction, recitation of lineage, what would be the proper manner to greet any of these I come across, and how would I identify of them?"

Amisa pouts playfully. "If you must leave me, I suppose I must forgive you." She stands and pulls on a garment that when tied properly would probably be a very elegant dress. But hanging loose like this, it's... much more interesting. "Run along. I'll be down shortly, I suppose. You and your new minions will need to run Claudio's errand, still."

Downstairs, Miecyslav holds up his hands to Taduz. "There will be time to teach you those things, childe. When this task is done here with Japheth, we may begin your training in ernest."

[Sabine]

I still look like Timmy.

"No. I haven't seen her. But I can stroke your hair. Until she gets here."

I walk over and start to stroke Theophania's hair.

Seska slips out of bed. Her back to Amisa, she stretches, causing the patterns of the scales on her shoulder and back to ripple. While dressing once more in her riding outfit she takes in Amisa's morning fashion. "Hopefully our journey will be swift and we shall not be parted for long. I would be quite content to linger here if given the option."

Ready to head downstairs, Seska pulls close and quietly says her good-bye. Seeing that people have started gathering and Geppen waiting for them, she asks, "How long will this ride take? Is it close enough we shall be able return this evening?"

Seeing Taduz is amongst those downstairs, "Sir, could you tidy Roderigo up, please? I think he quite learned his lesson, and will be of more use to us if neatened. Perhaps capable of speech, too."

Drawing a deep breath, beginning to yell "S" when Roderigo seems to appear next to me he moved so fast.

"Very well. You were quiet, obedient, and came at your master's call. You are learning. Go clean up, but first..."

"Will we have any more outbursts like last night?"

Watches him shake his head no.

"Open your mouth."

Sensing his slight reluctance after the last time it happened, Roderigo opens his mouth slowly, closing his eyes.

Reaching into one of my pockets, I palm something in my right hand, left hand hold open Roderigo's mouth, and begin inserting my right into his open orifice.

As she watches her fellow neonate study that ashes with what appears an ease she has yet to attain, the Jewess quietly asks him, based on her memory of those defeated the night before, "Is another in this conspiracy done away with then? Or do we yet have a chance to learn more from our sire?"

Gedeminas sighs, then turns to 'look' at Alina. "These are Casmir's ashes, and he is dead. Whether we can learn anything more from him may not be an entirely fruitless discussion, but would likely take many experiments that I doubt we have the time for."

He then heads over to the door, holds it open, and gestures for Alina to proceed him, saying as he does so, "While many of their ways are foolish, this Christian custom is worth adopting, don't you think?" He says this in Hebrew.

Theophania laughs as "Timmy" approaches and starts petting her long white hair. She stays quietly in her chair and observes the room, a faint smile on her face.

Roderigo reaches into his mouth, and makes some noises as if he's trying to spit out dirt. "Oh, it's back!" he shouts. "Oh, thank you Master." He drops to his knees and kisses Taduz' hand, a little over-enthusiastically.

Alina and Gedeminas descend the stairs at this point, but before they can speak at all, Claudio enters from the kitchen area with Geppen and the girl. Claudio looks around the room, and sees everybody. "You're still here? Be about your business, already. This note won't deliver itself. Japheth's monastery is almost half the night's ride from here, so you'd better hurry. Else you'll end up staying the day there. And there's no telling what abuses you'll suffer at that one's hands." He is holding a letter in expensive vellum, sealed with bright red wax.

Roderigo looks at Claudio in terror, and then says quietly to Taduz, "Master, I'll pull the carriage around. I'd already gotten the horses harnessed before everyone rose." Then he rushes out the door, not even waiting for permission to leave.

I smile as he leaves.

"He's learning, he even anticipates my wants before I voice them."

Stop smiling.

"Woe betide him if he ever mistakes my desires."

Seeing as we're gathering to leave, to my sire "If I may I beg your pardon, I must retire to your room to gather my possessions before our trip."

Bow to my sire, then to the other sires, and head back upstairs to the room, gather my goods, take a few moments to reflect on our current "mission".

Old man, best be done with this quick. If this Japheth is as they seem to fear, we should be best served finishing our errand quickly.

Nodding to myself.

Let us hope Slave can keep his mouth shut.

Gather up my supplies, and begin my way back to the main room. Humming a Rom travelling tune lightly.

[Sabine]

I like petting Theophania's hair. But lady Seska is here now. She has really nice hair too.

I can't decide.

Then I remember that I'm Timmy right now. Timmy wouldn't pet Seska's hair, so I have to stay where I am.

I giggle.

The Jewess looks towards Claudio. "One of us should inform you about our sire. I saw a thin layer of dust among his bedclothes which were lying upon his bed. The blind one here was able to determine that the dust was our sire's ashes, and that he is dead. That is all he was able to determine, but perhaps one of you elders could learn more, should you wish to try."

At Claudio's, Rodrigo's, and Taduz's words, the healer grabs her traveling satchel and awaits the return of the carriage.
