:) Thanks...turns out she does have it pre-ordered.

Maybe Myles and I will come to the Fest. :)
For Myles--
When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love

For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

Heads up! I will be seeing SRD at Bookworks on the 19th. I will be inviting him to Elohimfest, and asking him to suggest the best date and the restaurant of his choosing (of course Jennifer will probably make that decision :P LOL). We're looking somewhere in the first 3 weeks of June '11. So let me know the best days for YOU to make it out here so I can narrow it down (for him): the weekends of the 4th, 11th or the 18th?

It's looking good for me on all of those dates, hopefully I'm reading things right and school will be over by then! I'd say that if there was a worse date for me, it'd probably be the 4th, but that's just assuming I'm incompentant at reading an academic calender.

With enough advance notice, I can probably make the weekend of the 11th work also.

I think that in general, later in June works better for people with kids in school. Or for people in school themselves.

Happily, Magickmaker's commencement is in mid-May. 8)

I do not know why he hasn't posted himself, but in chat with Savor Dam and myself StevieG mentioned he may possibly be able to tie elohimfest in to a conference he could attend in July here is the states. I know Sea said airfare to the states jumps sky high come July, so maybe if it is scheduled later June there is still some way StevieG could combine the two?

Sounds like the weekend of the 11th is best from the input so far.

Danlo seems to favor it...and he has the inside track on what works for SRD.

DLB can only do the weekends of the 4th or 11th. Menolly's son graduates the weekend of the 4th, making that a less-preferred choice.

Looking forward to hearing that we are locking in on the weekend of the 11th. Sooner booked = less expensive, less stressful and more anticipation!

I think danlo was just needling dlb. To my knowledge, SRD hasn't said for sure -- or even hinted at -- which weekend will work best for him.

And I'm positive that danlo will let us know the minute SRD tells him which date he prefers. 8)
