Broken Social Scene, "World Sick"

Post by Mighara Sovmadhi »

There's almost no way for me to overemphasize how amazing this song is. It has so many layers, put together so perfectly... It's kind of a trip just listening to it. I'm even going to venture to say that this, as subjective of an attitude towards the song as it is, is more than just how I happen to feel about it: it's partly an objective aspect of the music in itself or something.

Here's a link to that music: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lb9WKJhqVWs&pla ... kWWHxKdPuY

Hi Mighara

This was in my email box today. LINK.
Thought you might wanna check it out, that is, if you weren't aware of this stuff before.

Thanks for the info.

Got to see BSS live last night. If it hadn't been for my own personal issues at the time, it would've been totally spectacular. "All to All" was really nice and "World Sick" blew me away again (even if it didn't sound anywhere near as crisp as it does on a studio recording).

Glad to hear you had a nice time, and Seattle must be a city worth visiting whatever the reason.

They're playing Leeds University in November. I just might buy myself a ticket. It would give me something to look forward to, besides the fireworks and the fair.
I love when a new band grabs me.
