Rest In Peace, Old Watch EZBoard, You Served Us Well

Post by kevinswatch »

Danlo has brought to my attencion that our old home, the Kevin's Watch EZBoard, has finally been killed. If this has already been brought up here, let me know, and I'll just feel silly, heh. Personally, I'm surprized that the people at EZBoard kept it alive for so long without seeing any new posts. But yeah, a lot of good memories, that EZBoard had. It effectively served our purposes for the first year of our existance, but soon became obsolete. Here's to you, Crappy-Ad-Filled-EZBoard! We solute you!-jay

That EZBoard has a legendary, nearly mythological, feel to those of us who never saw it. I think things like, "Oh, he was around during EZBoard? 8O Woooow!"

You know, last night (before this topic was made) I actually found that board in the ezboard listings, but alas, the truth is spoken here.

I was not a member at the ezboard, but I did a lot of reading there around this time last year, when KW was down for about a week. There was some brilliant stuff there!

Rest in Peace ezboard! ;)

I lurked there, dumbfounded that such a place existed!
Joined soon after this new board came to be.

RIP, old friend. :)

I saw it a few times before I first joined, but by then this board was in high gear and the old board was pretty much dead. I guess now it's official, eh? Rest in peace, you board you.

I wasn't around that board for too long - I recall offering this place as an alternative haunting ground and the rest is history. There must be a Google cache somewhere in cyberspace :)

Sort of a shame losing some of those old threads, though. We had some good discussions. :)

Ah, memories... ;)
