Ok, so Lucimay can make it Friday but Sorus can't.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Lucimay, Sorus, Coit Tower, MOMA, incredible food, ME! Lucimay, Sorus, Union Square, did I mention incredible food? You just gotta do it. Seriously. Vegas is hot and nasty and dirty and it's all about gambling and prostitution. The Grand Canyon is gorgeous but you go, you look, you stand in awe for a few moments and it's done. SF is alive and electric and beautiful and full of interesting people and places with tons to do and see and experience. Come to SF, you won't regret it. It's awesome.
And SF has distilled chicken. And Amoeba records.
Oh yeah! Make sure you get a bottle of that distilled chicken, Jenn, so Xar can have the full E-fest experience! ;)

Seriously, y'all have a good time!

Creator, I think it is tomorrow that San Francisco Xarfest is happening. When do you arrive there? Xar posted he will be leaving San Francisco in the afternoon of Sunday the 7th.

Xar, what is the plan regarding the drive north from San Francisco? Furl's family's mountain is somewhere in Oregon, near a town called Three Sisters. But I have no idea how much further north of the California/Oregon border that would be.

I just recently looked up the distance from San Diego to San Francisco -- it's about 500 miles. 8O San Francisco to Oregon might be a similar distance. I don't know for sure, tho, without looking at a map.

It's about 7 hours by car from SF to the Mountain (about 450 miles give or take). When we go home, we usually just fly into Redmond. Alot quicker.

Sorry we missed Xar! It's been a nutty time for us and I haven't had much time to get on the computer, so I didn't even know he was here in the Bay area. :(

Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you

Unfortunately the sf xarfest didn't happen, due to my sporadic internet access and jet lag... Sorry :( on friday evening i got back to the hotel very late in the evening, only finding Jenn's message too late, and yesterday we spent the whole day walking around the golden gate park from end to end (twice) and were exhausted at the end... i should have called, but between one thing and another, i completely forgot :( i'm really sorry, i should have organized myself better :(

Well, it's always a shame to miss an opportunity to meet a Watcher. But I hope you had fun. I don't know anything about the Golden Gate Park. Never heard of it, in fact.
