Liete is the only one to commit suicide for Nick.

Morn is the only member of UMCP, the only one with a zone implant or with gap sickness, the only mother, the only one subject to Angus, and the only one chosen by Warden Dios.

Mikka is the only one to serve under Morn's informal command.

Malda Verone, Captain's Fancy targ officer, is the only one who never held a command position that we know of, the only one not mentioned as ever being Nick's sex partner, the only one not to play a significant role in the story.
