Grace Potter and the Nocturnals - self titled album
Kings of Leon - Come Around Sundown
The New Pornographers - Together
Sara Bareilles - Kaleidoscope Heart
The Watson Twins - Talking to You, Talking to Me
Not a strong year. Lots of albums that are fair to good, not great like
Neil Youngs- Le Noise, KT Tunstalls- Tiger Suit, Pete Yorn (self titled), Katherine McPhee - Unbroken, Junip - Fields, The Choir- Burning Like The Midnight Sun, Audrey Assad - The House You're Building, Arcade Fire - The Suburbs.
Last year was much stronger. Even the ones I listed as good, would be at the bottom of a list mixed with 2009's best.

Another in the almost good, honorable mention category,
Peter Wolf's - Midnight Souvenirs
and probably my new choice for album of the year
Scott McKeon - Trouble

I thought Iron Maiden's The Final Frontier was fantastic
Haven't listened to Kamelot's new album yet... don't have high hopes for that one, though
Another one I liked that I'm fairly sure is 2010 was Mago de Oz's Gaia III: Atlantia.
