I celebrate cooking and getting drunk alone in the kitchen while my wife has to deal with the family in the living room. :)

Got back a little while ago from Christmas Eve dinner with Magickmaker's father and his wife. Watched "The Polar Express" in 3D. Not a bad evening, all round. 8)

Happy Festivus (and a belated Merry Christmas).
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
-George Steiner
