Struck me like a bolt of lightening!!!!!

See how versatile he is, as an actor? This is perhaps his most famous role, other than fighting Carl Perkins with a knife in "Into the Night."

Great choice, but you need to combine your threads--like a "My choice for TCTC cast", instead of a different thread for each of your characters...

Maybe if they were making this movie 20 years ago, but he's just too old now. Mhoram needs to be played by a guy they can add 47 years to if they were to make three First Chron movies.

One man's opinion. I'm High Lord Stevious and I approved this message.

You obviously haven't seen his oscar winning performance as the shark in Yellowbeard. It even exceeeded Russ Tamblyn's performance as a shark in "Cabin Boy."
Seriously though. You need to watch all of his films before you under rate him as an actor.

Nobody thought Sinatra could act and his performances in "the manchurian candidate" and "the man with the golden arm" were better than anyone in his time.

Bowie's a superb actor: he was great in "The Prestige" and absolutely stole the show, as he always does, when he appeared in a cameo in "Extras".

See also "Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence," "Basquiat" "Baal" and "The Elephant Man" to name but a few outstanding performances.

I agree he is now too old to play Mhoram, and his health is too poor.

IMHO, Bowie would have made a better TC than a Mhoram - he's cadaverously thin and has never looked well, plus he's got that tortured soul thing down perfectly.

As I am absolutely certain has been stated elsewhere, Viggo Mortensen would have been a superb choice for Mhoram, were he not already so recognisable as Arrowroot, the Loan Arranger from LOTR.

Shockingly, some people have claimed that I'm egocentric... but hey, enough about them
