Futurama: Television's most inspiring show (4 Dog Lovers)

Post by Lord Zombiac »

The most powerful thing I've ever seen on Television was Futurama's "Jurassic Bar."
Here's my perspective: I have been a dog lover all my life. No sage wisdom to me has ever exceeded the naming of dogs as "Man's Best Friend."
I bought my daughter her first dog shortly before my divorce. It was my fond hope that the puppy would be a loyal friend to my daughter and that after I was gone, she would always have "Angel" to be there in my absence.
Unfortunately, Angel was struck by a car and killed shortly after I moved from the house to our garage.
So here I was, getting ready to move to New Mexico, watching Futurama with my three year old daughter.
Along came "Jurassic Bark," the story of Fry's loyal four legged friend.
"I laughed, I cried" does not begin to cover it.
Me and my only child wept like babies at the show's conclusion.
Fine television programming!

Gee, I wonder how many Futurama threads it takes to to screw in a lightbulb.....
Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries
Blow away dandelion

I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.
