So... I had a couple questions / comments.
I understand from posts that Anaya has relinquished her divinity and boarded the Arc. Does that mean that Anaya's player is now playing "the divinity formerly known as Anaya", or that he has left the game? The fact that the map still shows Anaya's cities in grey makes me think the former. We're kind of busy saving the world, but I'd be interested in role-playing interaction with a portion of the deity who created me. Perhaps we could do a little vignette of mother and child(ren) finally working out their problems, just as the world ends. A real tear-jerker.
Halideva is no longer listed as a deity, and we're told that we cannot detect her presence outside of the Tree. And yet her cities are also still shown on the map as owned by her. Does that mean she's still around in some capacity, continuing to draw on the faith of her followers (perhaps further empowering the Tree)?

Halideva's cities are marked to signal that the Paragons are ruling those cities. Since there's a lot of them and they are very powerful, I figured it would be a good idea to give you all an indication of where they rule; I'll change the legend with the next turn.Goatkiller666 wrote:So... As for Anaya, that's up to the player to decide and/or reveal; until that happens, the cities are going to be marked with her color.

Check Bel's PMs.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

This Halideva seems to have been a noble, powerful goddess. But she did not have the power to create anything on par with Yggdrasil. Nine days hanging on the Ash was like unto an entire year on Eiran's Tree of Life.Stonemaybe wrote:Nine days Murrin? That Odin was a wuss - Brid's there for the turn!

To my knowledge, the important turns are in. Close it off now!Xar wrote:Still missing several turns... I'm surprised, actually. Because of this, I'm extending the deadline until tomorrow (saturday), 11 pm GMT (6 pm EST) but after that, no other turns will be accepted...
