This Halideva seems to have been a noble, powerful goddess. But she did not have the power to create anything on par with Yggdrasil. Nine days hanging on the Ash was like unto an entire year on Eiran's Tree of Life.
Right, because it's the size of the tree that really determines the amount of suffering. Not, for example, the ambient temperature around the tree... the humidity... the amount of vermin (or vultures) eating on you... whether you're tied or nailed to the tree... whether you were wounded before or during the period of hanging...

Ah, I didn't realize I was speaking with one so young and weak. The physical considerations have nothing to do with it with beings such as Brid and I. It is the nature of the tree, the power of it, that matters.

My apologies, AllFather and everyone else.
One of the players in this house was informed of being named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist last Friday, and between the unexpected influx of offers from schools not even considered, and other ongoing commitments, deadline slipped away from both of us...

Turn. Sent.

Whew! I may have written longer pieces, I don't know, but none like this one.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Well, on our part, we knew it was pending, but neither of us had an opportunity to sit down and compose. I doubt more deadline texts to us would have changed anything.

My thanks to The AllFather for the extension without either of us contacting him beforehand.

Let's not get off topic and talking about that other game in this game's threads. It muddies the water, and can cause the loyal players of Pantheon to become uninterested in their own threads.

Odin was here long before any of you. Even before he changed his name back to Odin, it was known that that's who Han-shan was.

I agree. Can we please keep this thread to Pantheon discussions?
