I believe CovJr was the one to lock it down. Anyway, we have another generous donation bringing us to $270 bucks so looks like we pretty much have it except for the final $30. Way to go watchers!

I'm so glad this worked out.

Still, I wish we had the wherewithal to fund trips for everybody who can't afford it.

Ah well, maybe one of us will get rich someday and will set up a Deserving Watchers Elohimfest Travel Trust, or something....

Right? A permanent fund, that we all put into when we have spare change. And we set up a Board of Trustees, who vote on whether or not someone claiming need actually has need. Background checks; letters from bosses; etc...

Hmmm... Based on my experience of underwriting expenses of Watchers, we may need to cast a wider net when seeking verification of need. Not only do some assisted Watchers not have a boss who might write a letter...there is not even acknowledgement of the concept of a boss.
