On friday me and my fiancée and maybe my daughter will be there in a subaru. We can give you a lift or maybe you can camp with us at a nearby state park.

I have a credit card I can rack up with a flight and hotel. Debt isn't too serious. Right? Right?!

I would need someone to chauffeur me, though.

Ugh. $800 for flight and hotel from New Hampshire. $600 if I'm leaving from New Orleans.

Maybe debt wins this time. :\

edit - That's the airfare plus hotel combined.

Besides, barring foreseen circumstances, I'll be there! It'll be like Dlb being there if he were a completely different person born in a different time and place growing up under different circumstances.

I was making some plans with Bob and put out an invite to him for E3 as a potential MC or simply as my guest. He has yet to give me a yay or nay but Danlo, we are on for dinner Thursday night with him. I hope I didn't overstep any bounds with that but he's been so great in the past or so I hear, and I thought it would be fun for him to do it again. I wasn't sure what the structural plan for the dinner ceremonies would be but I would like an opportunity to get up and say some words to the group and to Steve if you guys don't mind.

Bob Vardeman is on board for E3. This is getting more fun by the minute. Don't worry non attendees, I will post a ton of pics and Sea, I'll get a calling card for Au so we can call you if you want us to. As for the US folks, I got a ton of rollover and free minutes to spare so if you want a call from E3, obviously not during the dinner, but the other parts of the festivities then feel free to pm me your number and time zone.
