We should probably start the event planning soon and get a tally of who is coming what nights etc. etc.

Danlo, correct me if I'm wrong about the general set up, but Elohimfest has the following usual general set up.

Friday is a social night. Where Creator/Deva gets to show off his scrabble skills among other things. For those not so game inclined, we hung out in the yard.

Saturday has Lady Tam's High Tea in the afternoon ( I thought I saw she wanted to do it again upthread) and the Main Event in the evening. In the morning, everyone was generally on their own, but at the last Elohimfest, I took the Sandia Peak Tramway, for great views of the area. I think we've also done an expedition to Albuquerque's Old Town, which has a lot of interesting artisan shops.

Sunday, after breakfast at the place with the lunar type name, actually we eat there a lot. It's good. (age is slowing me down that I can't remember it ;) ) is the Trip to Andlelain.

Outside the usual events, I've heard baseball mentioned. The Isotopes are in town. Friday and Saturday times are 7:05. Sunday's at 1:35.

I *think* last time we might have had the High Tea on Sunday morning and breakfast at the Flying Star Saturday morning. I know there was a lull Saturday afternoon, during which I took the kids to Old Town (and that's all I'm gonna say about *that* outing, as I'm still kind of steamed about it...).

I'll defer to your superior recollection skills. :D

You should never have figured me for a fool, either. I know when I'm out-gunned, and I'm not too keen on suicide.

I agree that those two are a joke; unfortunately, my wallet's not laughing.

Since I, unfortunately, I guess, put that silly picture up there this thread's getting a little out of control. I, also, wish Waddely was doing this organization thread, instead, because, well, she seems more organized...

I just re-edited the first post-still about 30 folks coming with sgt. null, Lord Zombiac and, possibly, JazFusion being added and dlb and Seareach not being able to make it. Unclear about hue of bone and Drew. We, probably, need to see if lorin and JazFusion could use our sponsorship to help get them out here.

1.) I will destroy Creator at scrabble
2.) Yes arrival night lists are good, but as long as everybody has my phone numbers (and everyone else's) things usually work out just fine, plus it makes for some neat surprises
3.) The past schedule doesn't really matter as we're flexible-just remember Sat breakfast at the Flying Star-running party from 10AM Friday until forever-Donaldson dinner Saturday night.
4.) I just contracted my friends at Medic 13 productions to shoot the video-they are REALLY good-here's the intro trailer to the TV Show they're producing as a sample: Rescue

I haven't been on the forum much, but I got the email for this Elomhimfest. Meeting SRD might be worth a 600 mile ride through the desert in June, and I'll be off work then...

Time to talk to the ball & chain.

If I could use my white gold dollars for air fare/accommodations, I'd show up. I'm no Scrabble guru, but if we played chess, I'm sure I could whup all your asses!

Pffft!! I play chess as well - used to play with Heirarchy and Chysallis ... you would be dead meat!!

 at least I would try.

In terms of the trip I am excited to see everyone and GREATLY appreciate Danlo's hospitality!

I fact, I would suggest those of us who can, should contribute to help the considerable cost that Danlo goes thru to feed us and support the High Tea. While no one should feel bad if they can't contribute, or can only contribute a little, it will be nice to help out as we can.

I will pledge $200 to help DANLO (PM me where to send check)

I would suggest any amounts over what DANLO needs directly can be used to fund trips down for those eager to come but who do not have the means (lorin and JazFusion come to mind.) I suggest that DANLO can decide disbursement.

What say you all? What do you pledge?

I'll be happy to make some more key lime pies and/or bratwurst, if wanted.

Since I am already underwriting the expense of another Watcher's attendance as well as my own, I really can't sell Dam-sel on letting me pledge to the general fund, but if Menolly's key lime pies are desired, I will absolutely help with that, or assist with scullery /serving tasks to assist danlo and Tam with Friday's BBQ and/or the High Tea. Galley skilz, I has them!

(danlo, PM me if this works, You-know-who is too spontaneous to plan...but I am serious about being as helpful as I can)

Thanks for the offer, very kind. But I am resilient and will find my way there with a little luck. It will just have to be a last minute thingy. Lets work on Jaz.
