Well, I enjoyed it! It was dark, and sad, as it should be. They tried to make it realistic. And there wasn't the slightest hint of nudity. No sex, other than a van that was a-rockin'.
There were some problems, which don't bother me in light of the entire package. Yeah, she was more naive in a couple things than she should have been. And I don't understand why they were in danger in the first place.
Why bother with that signal? Why not just go out into the world, and not announce that they were doing so? Or did I miss something?
But the brutal efficiency was so well done. And the tone throughout. Even the scenery in the beginning was breathtaking.
And I really hated
The Lovely Bones, so I'm very glad I liked this.
