No, the book he gave me contains all 3 books of the 2nd chronicles in one (fat) volume. The pages fell out because it is a well read and well thumbed copy!

By 3rd book I meant 3rd chronicles. Sorry.

Do you have the electronic version? I am desperate to read the 2nd chronicles!

Thanks

I would have loved to have been lucky enough to grab one of those
downloads. I just started reading the series again (in paperback)
after first reading it back in the 70's (I think) :D
It's so much easier to hold my Sony than fumbling around with a
paperback while trying to eat, etc. Any current news on the "official"
ebook Chronicles becoming available.

Hiya,

Do any of you own the Kindle (Amazon) ebook versions of the Chronicles? Or any other Kindle versions of his books (especially the Gap novels)?

Are they any good? How about typos and other mistakes? I heard that the Song of Ice and Fire ebooks are very poor quality. Lots of typos on every page, misspelled names etc.

I haven't bought a Kindle yet, but it would be great to have some of the books as ebooks, especially in English (I only have the German versions so far).

Good to see you're still around! :)

I have the Gap series downloaded to my Kindle, but haven't read it on there yet. I think there was a thread on here where people were proofreading the books and offering corrections.

ASoIaF - I am reading this on my Kindle and I haven't noticed many typos. Maybe I got a later edition or something but it seems pretty clean (I'm in the middle of the 4th book).

The Steven Erickson books I am also reading on my Kindle - they seem to suffer from some minor formatting problems but overall seem pretty good quality.

Thanks, Akasri. I'll see if I can find the other thread.

Maybe they've proofread and corrected ASoIaF since then. That would be great.
