Darkwood--OOC commentary/discussion

If you're volunteering, I'll play. But I figured that Battletech would involve less of a personal investment of time, since it would be unconnected combat scenes without any long-term storyline, etc.
However, you know the guy with "geek the mage first" in his .sig is always down for playing some Shadowrun. Though... didn't they convert it to D20 Modern later on? Which, on the surface seems cool, but I hear they really broke a bunch of stuff. (Or am I thinking of Gamma World?)

Geek the mage, first.

This brings back such pleasant memories.Seven Words wrote:I almost lost bladder control...hilarious.....I fell out of my chair, had to make the crawl across the room before I wet myself while laughing hysterically...
Memories of the mention of colossal unmentionables with cheese-coated beef sandwiches upon their crowns, and the laughing fits they would induce.

If we are all waiting on Vynarkus, just an FYI...
His player has high school senior Grad Bash at Universal Orlando tonight, and is not expected back until 4:00 or 5:00 am. I suspect he'll crash out for much of the day once he's home tomorrow, so it may be a bit before he gets to posting.
So, if any more role playing or other information would like to be shared, before we open this warded door...feel free.

Wow, I never had anything like that when *I* was in HS. That sounds like fun.Menolly wrote:If we are all waiting on Vynarkus, just an FYI...

Back when I was senior in HS (yep, in thee ole days of yore), we had "Grad Night" at the Magic Kingdom at WDW. I understand this is the last year WDW is doing it, although it will continue at Disneyland. I guess Universal's "Grad Bash" offered too much competition...Annalysei wrote:Wow, I never had anything like that when *I* was in HS. I went to Disneyland's Grad Night. Was fun stuff. We had the run of the place, with something like 1/10th the normal number of people. The only problem was that they insisted we wear formal attire... they would rent us ties if we didn't have them, but since we just came from graduation, we had them. Kinda sucks to have to wear a tie on Splash Mountain, but since we got to ride it like 5 times in a row, it balanced out.
