We have had a miscarriage. For us it is painful, but for the child it is wondrous. To set foot into heaven without having to tread in this horrific mortal world. This is this child's birthday. A blessed day.
When you see us, attend that this has happened.
I thought you should know that.
In light of your kind wishes for our baby, I thought you should share something of this.
Let there be no awkward moments. I only want to share the peace in my heart.
Think of all the grief this baby will never know and be glad.
Our child was born today.
We shall honor this pure soul forever.

zom - i am so sorry to hear of this. julie and i went through it as well. (more than once)

Thank you. I truly believe that God has blessed this child with a head start on higher things.
I still have to tell my daughter, who has always hated being an only child.

Aside from that, pop into HDYFT sometime and bring us up to date on how things are hopefully going better for you and yours.

LZ: Sorry I have not offered my condolences to you and P sooner. Dam-sel and I faced similar a few times. It was long ago, but I know it hurts....even though you have an inspiring outlook on it all.

LZ..I saw a cloud form out of the rising warm air of the desert. It became a cloud scape hugely magnificent, but as fast as it was sculpted , the winds carried it away to the four directions. Still..I saw and felt the beauty of it .

I'll be getting in Thursday afternoon about 4pm, on Amtrak. I've got a car lined up, but haven't reserved a hotel yet. Will probably go with Candlewood Suites for that, since I've been using them when I have to stay out of town for work.

LZ, sorry about your loss.

Danlo, I am arriving wednesday at 7:45 in the evening. I will need a head count for Thursday night because it will seriously affect the menu choice. Also, anyone attending that activity, dinner fund donations will be much appreciated. So all those planning to attend the pre-planning dinner please let me know as soon as possible so I can figure up a menu and we can then discuss any specialized dietary requirements or alternatives and vote on things. Sound good?

Loremaster, does that mean to count you in for Thursday dinner or are you gonna be toast from jetlag?

Everyone post or pm me your arrival and departure dates and times or approximations as we are going to be coordinating several other events such as the Saturday tea party and the friday night barbecue as well as a possible field trip to view some of the lovely sights around ABQ. Also attendees who feel comfy sending me and/or Danlo their cell numbers via pm, that would help with coordinating stuff when the events are in motion. Thanks for all your help on this. With 30 or more on the guest list it ups the game to some serious planning so any cooperation will make it that much easier on the planners.

I am arriving Wednesday night and leaving monday afternoon. If you want my cell number just pm me with yours using cell contact in the subject line and I will send you mine.
