tequila
a nice pillow
my laptop (with a battery pack)
some good moisturizing soap

One day, just for the same reason that someone wins the lottery each week, one of these cranks is going to get it right and then they can stand in the middle of the hail of fire and brimstone pointing at everyone and shouting "I TOLD YOU SO, I TOLD YOU SO!"
President of Peace? You fucking idiots!

'Of course - you know you have.'

As I understand it the rapture will just pull people away to heaven, leaving the the sinners on earth to suffer. So you will be sitting on a bus and all of a sudden half the people, the good people, will be gone. 8O

If that is the case New Jersey should remain well populated.

You know, I am a bit disappointed to tell the truth. I mean, if there was an apocalypse then I would know for sure there really was magic in the world.

Now its relegated back to the books and movies.

Nah.
It would only show that fundamentalist Chr-stians were right about this time, and we all knew it was bunk.

That in no way means that magic, or magick, or miracles, or anything we dream we could be does not exist.

Keep your dreams alive, girlfriend.

I think the apocalypse was somewhat muted here in MA. Not quite powerful enough to actually kill anything but my neighbor reported that his dog threw up and my son's hamster does seem a bit sluggish. Not a very powerful apocalypse at all....
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
