There is a group who plan to gather and chat about the efesters behind their backs since they can't come either, you might want to pm fist and faith about it. :P

Lord Foul has opted out so we are back down to 30 with 15 at the thursday dinner. I also updated the arrival/departure list with the latest information.

Yeah...I'm super bummed out.

If I had the cash months ago when I first looked at tickets, I may have been able to swing it, but it's was too much now.

Don't worry though, I'll be there in spirit!

Look for those last minute deals, if it is still a possibility. Otherwise, I'd like to add my phooey as well.

Ok, I added IO and RoomtoGrow to the list in the thread about arrival/departure times. I don't have that info though so their names were simply added. If you guys could post your times up that would be great. Also we are up to 32 with the addition of them plus firedaughter and myles. Firedaughter, it would be nice to have your travel plans listed too and probable attendance at the various efest events.

Thanks for your cooperation everyone!

YAY! 11 days until I arrive on Danlo's doorstep and twelve for the start of the first of the group events. Getting a bit excited... :S

Still haven't quite got the question posed for SRD but I'm sure it'll give me something to do on the 12 hour flight!

God, I love sourdough and butter. (where is the drool icon?) I wanna ask for a loaf of sourdough but it would be like Heidi saving the soft rolls for her grandmother . all hard after a week. But it might be good dunked in some beer at Danlo's.

I wonder if I can put a REAL Brooklyn pizza in my suitcase? None of this Chicago deepdish crap. Bet it would make my wardrobe smell delicious.

Real coffee comes from Seattle, not San Francisco.

Sees is very yummy chocolates!

Yes, Lorin, NY pizza is the best. Hands down. Not negotiable. We actually have a fabulous authentic NY pizza place just two blocks from my apartment. It's called Arinell's and it is divine. To almost quote Arlo Guthrie, "You can get anything you want in (Alice's Restaurant) San Francisco." And we even have an Alice's Restaurant which is a particularly excellent and moderately priced chinese food place up on Potrero Hill. Their hot and sour soup and mango ostrich dishes are sublime, the sizzling shanghai chicken platter is off the hook and the kung pao anything is perfectly spicy.

In other words, I am good. You are totally awesome to offer but I think all this group cares about is that you are bringing your badass self. That's what's really important and believe me, and this goes for all of you attending, I am super looking forward to meeting all the new faces and hugging and smooching all the familiar faces. Although if you were coming from Boston I would probably request some cannolis from Mike's Bakery on Hanover St. I miss that place. When I lived in the Boston area I used to frequent the place and as those who have met me can tell you, I am kinda gregarious. I quickly began getting greeted with hugs and cheek kisses and ushered to a seat of honor next to Grandpa and made to try all the latest recipe inventions. My mother was speechless at all of the hullabaloo when I brought her there the first time. Hahahahahaha. seriously, I miss that place.

Ok, yes, I am getting pretty pumped up. In SIX well, essentially FIVE days I will be on a plane to ABQ!!!! WHOOOO FREAKING HOODY!!!

Keep that big floppy pizza, or those crappy N.Y. hot dogs in case you had a mind. But lox and bagels, mmm. Ah, good bagels are hard to find, lorin. That stuff that passes for them in the store is no relation to a real bagel.

But if you took everyones order, you'd have to bring another couple of bags, and they are expensive by air.

Just bring yourself.
