on the first (when the state pays me) we will be renting our hotel/motel room and getting rentacar renterented.

Hey everyone, sorry it's taken me so long to respond here. Hopefully this is okay and not too late. Heidi, Jordan and Stevie will be coming with Myles and me. Would it be alright if Stevie came to the dinner with SRD? If not, Jordan is more than willing to stay with him in the hotel room. Stevie insists on coming, he says "Mommy wants me to go." Soooo, hopefully it's okay if we bring him. Let me know if it's not. We are driving down and plan to leave here sometime on Tuesday and should be in Albie in time for the dinner on Thurs.

Again, sorry it took so long for me to get back to you all. :)

OH...and Myles just asked me what the address was to the restaurant so we can GPS it...

Between now and Thursday I plan to do a bit of sightseeing of this beautiful state, is there anything planned sightseeing wise later? I don't want to visit anywhere we all go together later :))

johnny-I always guide a trip to Jemez and the Valles Caldera (Andelian) on Sunday (that's when I don't gab a bluestreak and take us 1/2 way to Santa Fe by mistake)

One really gorgeous, and relatively dust free, trip you should take is to Taos through Santa Fe and the beautiful Espanola Valley and then return the back way through Angle Fire and Mora-Wheeler Peak is near Taos (highest point in NM) and the mountains around Angle Fire are stunning.

While I am looking forward to meeting SO MANY people in the next week, I can't overstate how amazed I am that Tracie whispered in Stevie's ear that he needed to be there. I was disappointed when meeting up with Fire Daughter, Miles, and Angel Daughter did not work out in January...but to get to meet Jordan and Stevie as well six months later is way better.
