Don't say that -- I'm flying American too. 8O Don't worry, they'll put you on another one.

Yessir, lurch, in ABQ it's supposed to be in the mid 80s this weekend. That's cooler than DC right now!

Well, for gods sake you're still coming right?

Jenn arrived on time, just finished chatting for 3 hours strait, feels like old home week. "Kevin's Dirt" is back with a bit of a vengeance-it's snowing ash, under a blood orange Drool moon, looks like fireflies (or wraiths) dropping from above in the light, much preferable to the Grim. I expect it to be gone tomorrow. Incredibly excited to kickoff E-Fest III !!!!

Creator call us early-ish tomorrow!

I'm blaming the Girl Scouts. Which, okay, it was my idea that she join. But still.

Few more hours before I go up to meet that spirit in the sky (spirit in the skyyyy), cuz that's where I go when I fly (when I flyyyyyy)

Looks like I'll be there around 6 EST. I'll call/text someone (danlo) when I arrive at the motel.

I'm here! Having coffee on the back patio and covered in dog and cat fur but it's my fault for loving them up a ton. Danlo is taking Lady Tam to work, Elora Grace is playing in the tub and we just washed her hair so she will be extra pretty for the festivities tonight. All is well in the world.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Damn, HLT, I was looking forward to meeting you!

Flight got delayed because flight from Dallas got canceled because the plane was taken out of service. Will be in Alby at around 6:45.

If nothing else, I get lunch on AA's dollar :D

Hey there, if it's not too late to sign up, I'm in! Had to wait to see if a job I was up for was going to work this weekend or not, checked for last-minute flights, and looks like I'm good to go. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Best,

Scott Brick
Are you a storyteller, Thomas Covenant?

I was, once.

And you gave it up? Ah, that is as sad a tale in three words as any you might have told me. But a life without a tale is like a sea without salt. How do you live?

I live.

Another? In two words, a story sadder than the first. Say no more -- with one word you will make me weep.

Scott Brick is coming?
And we are going to see Loremaster!
Oh, this is getting more and more exciting by the minute. :hearts:

Anyway, although this was sent to me via PM, it does say "pass it on." I figure the easiest way is to quote the PM in thread...
wayfriend wrote:I have sent danlo a copy of my FR that I am hoping to get all the Watchers at the 'Fest to sign. So please do! -- Pass it on.
So, please be sure to find way's copy of FR, and jot a kind word or three to him inside it.

Thanks!
...still hard for me to imagine a 'fest without way in attendance. :(

Welp, my shuttle will be here tomorrow morning at 3:30. Not that any of you will notice me being there or not, since I'm going to be spending the entire weekend studying for finals. Maybe I'll make it out to the dinner.... we'll see ;)

I'm a little concerned about getting from the airport to wherever it is I'll need to go. (Danlo's or the hotel...) Should I go post in the arrivals/departures thread? Is there a bus I can/should take? Sorry I haven't been up on things. School, again, has been kicking my lily ass :(

Lore, I'm glad you were able to make it after all!
