Like my new avatar? I made it from the pic I took at the church. Cool, huh?

Some brilliant Loremaster quotes:

"I think dANdelion is going to be really angry when I post that Sgt. Null is the funniest man I've ever met"

About Jonnyredleader:

"Everyone here has a crush on that guy including myself though I still wouldn't eat his honey."

About me:

"You didn't just join the watch, you were like an explosion of personality which was a bit overwhelming."

So that sounds like one heck of a fest I missed... guess I will just have to crash the next party so I can drink the food and eat the booze, oh wait ...

I bumped the "Why did the chicken cross the road?" thread as per a conversation at Efest. For anyone who didn't see it, it's a good laugh.

Nice! Beautiful picture, Lorin!

I also like Jenn's new avatar. It looks like Danlo is keeping an eye on you two, making sure you all don't get into trouble.

Ya know, it's not a bad idea for next summer. After the first 'fest way back in 2004, we had mini-fests every year:

2005 NYC
2006 D.C.
2007 E'fest II Albq
2008 San Fran

Then the economy tanked fall 2008 and we took 2009 off. Last year a few of us met up in Ohio for WFC, but that was a really small group.

So I'll just go ahead and throw this out there, and let everyone start saving their pennies.....who's up for a mini-fest in Summer 2011? Boston wouldn't be a bad place.

Works for me. Maybe I can make Cag fly out here and I'll drive up from Charlottesville, picking up passengers along the way.

Of course, I have to find enough work to replace the job I lost just before this 'Fest first, but I have 360-odd days to pull that off. Piece of aliantha-cake.

Hey that reminds me Sarge,,what ever became of that guitar of yours? In any case..I've been showing off you all to the folks at work,,when they ask ,,what did ya do during your days off? All the pics/posts here have made my words sink in.." the virtual world of the web is just the start. Meeting up and having fun in 3D with the folks ya meet in chat rooms is really cool. Alot of the youngsters are kinda like..wow, you can really do that! Any way...pretty close to 110 f degrees today in Phx..so Boston ..well,,any place north from here,,this time next year , sounds good to me!

YES!!! Hopefully I'll still be living in either NH or MA. If my husband lands a decent job (fingers crossed enough to break them) and we rent a house, I would totally be up for hosting some BBQ, beer and music at my (hypothetical) place. That is, if those of you staying around Boston wouldn't mind making a mini-trek out there. We shall see what happens.

Otherwise, I WILL be there, drinkin' all yer beers, walkin' the Freedom Trail and yellin' "WICKED PISSAH" at everyone who happens along the way*.
