And yes, all of New England owes us a debt of gratitude! I enjoyed game 7 last night. It's always fun when my team takes an early lead and never loses it.

been waiting a long time for the Bruins to win a Stanley Cup - I was four years old the last time they one. so i have absolutely no memory of it.

Great win for an immensely likable team!
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. I'm a Flyers fan and even I was happy to see the Bruins win. They're a good team that really stepped it up at the end of the season. Good job!

tulizar : glad to hear from classy fans of other teams like damelon, brinn and yourself.
living in texas i really miss hockey. the only bruins games i saw this year were two of the losses in the finals and the cup winning game.
but if you only see one game - the clincher is the one. lol

Outside of Philly teams, New England or Detroit usually comes next, due to family. So the Patriots/Sox/Bruins have been nice (don't like Celtics, or NBA really).
