I am returning to London for six weeks!!!!

My flight lands on the 1st of May, and I will be leaving on the 11th of June. While in the UK, I will be visiting Liverpool, Glascow and Edinburgh.

I cannot wait!

Good stuff Loremaster! Based on the 5 things you're addicted to, I think you'll have a great time!

I've only ever been to London once, briefly. My experience was great, I really enjoyed it (from a tourist's perspective). It's interesting that so many Australians work there for a period of time...

Hm, how did this appear without me noticing? Liverpool's actually not that far from where I live at the moment, though I've never been there.

I've decided to not visit Liverpool and instead spend two nights in Wales.

 You'll regret it. Wales is a lot like New Zealand, but colder.

I want to see where my ancestors lived; my surname is Welsh and I know where one side of the family lived. The other side is from the Isle of Wight.

I have actually met a few Welsh people who share your surname but I never realised it was a particularly Welsh name. I just assumed they're all Australian.

Where in Wales?

It's Welsh if you drop the 's'.

I'll have to get back to you on that.

Cancelled - I'm still going to the UK, but it's apparent hardly anyone's interested in meeting me.

Yikes. I forgot all about this. Such is the danger of an absent-minded person being informed well in advance.

Revan tells me he's planning to try and meet up with you. If you're agreeable, I'll see what I can do.

Loremaster when you come over add me into the mix in whatever you organise, I travel to Wales and the midlands regularly so not a problem if people want to stay local, we can also discuss your taste in Dicks milkshakes further

Ok, I've split this topic. See General Discussion and the aptly named tread (ie "Dicks").
Cheers.
