I had that song stuck in my head for ages when Charmed first starting screening. I love it. It's called How Soon Is Now? by Love Spit Love. You can find it on The Craft Soundtrack.
How Soon Is Now? I am proud to say that I never gave Charmed the time of day but that is the title of one of my favorite Smiths songs. Do you think Love Spit Love did a cover of it? I'll have to look it up and see if they do it justice.

yes it sounds just like the original with a tiny bit of tweaking. Morrisey still sounds better. :P He just pours that thick melodious voice into it and this guy sounds kinda scratchy. but it's not a bad try :D

I only know the one version I'm afraid and I really quite like that one. Must try and get a hold of the original and compare. :)

Hellfire, you're absolutely right. I suspect that the cover is in a slightly higher key though. I'd say that the Love Spit Love guy conveys more emotion in his voice than Morrissey though, and it gives the song a quite different feel.

I suppose there is a biiiiig difference in what we all heard when we were kids... But, did anyone watch the show called Dr Snuggles??? There are so many nice songs in that one! (Hum, hoom, taa dii, dee - starts humming imediatelly).

The muppet showtheme is not bad either.

The Liberty Bell march - superb! (for those who do not know: its the Monty Python theme. Oh, my, there is always a place for Python, isn´t there?)

And I liked the theme to Against the Wind (if that was the correct english title, it was about an irish girl who is sentenced to exile and work in australia in mid 1800, here she mets this rockstar whose name aludes me for the moment and... )

Voyager has a nice theme, and STNG of course.

And the theme to Sailor Moon - horror! Have you heard it? The swedish lyrics are just perfectly horrible too... Brrrr (shaking with distress).

Barney Miller, The Monkees, Moonlighting, All In The Family......those were the ones I liked the most.

Too many dusty trailtowns, too few and far between
Tired saloons with sawdust-covered floors
Too many one more showdowns and aces over queens
Winning's just a way of keeping score

- Chorus -
My ole pappy always told me your fate is in your hand
Stand pat or draw, it's yours to choose
Luck don't have a thing to do with how you play the game
Maverick didn't come here to lose
Maverick didn't come here to lose

No one recalls the first hand, they all know who won the last
And every man must find his place in time
If all a man can count on is one day pushing up the grass
When I do I lay you odds that grass is mine

(Repeat Chorus)

I 'm tired of leaving nothing, No one ever knows you're gone
Someone's always there to take your seat
I wonder how it feels to hear someone say "glad your home"
Or greet the same ole friends on familiar street

(Repeat Chorus)
Functionless art is vandalism. I am the vandal.

Do you know I've never watched a single episode of Maverick? We were strictly an Ed Sullivan family. I bet my dad was a closet fan with infinite patience 'cause we weren't even allowed in the living room once the Rockford files came on...LOL

(dam! I shouldn't have posted-now can't The Rockford Files theme o/o my head! :x )

Not a theme song, but memorable.

Love how the last line doesn't rhyme. :D

Any one know the Raccoons?

A cute Canadian Cartoon from the eighties; with an oddly poignant theme song.

The original Kung Fu series starring David Carradine's theme music is forever carved into my soul, I would pay dearly to have it as my ringtone.
"Speak to me of summer,
long winters longer
than time can remember"

"I still remember the talks by the water
the proud sons and daughters
that knew the knowledge of the land
spoke to me in sweet accustomed ways"

I love the Hawaii-50 theme. And Magnum PI.

But the one I remember most fondly:

Enjoy!

Have these downloaded onto a CD along with the theme from "Peanuts " and "Miami Vice".
Have you hugged your arghule today?
