i like morphine. wait that's not weird is it. i embrace the pharmacy sciences. they have greatly improved my life, without them i wouldn't be able to walk.

this may come as a surprise to people who have met me, but i am actually very shy. i believe i hide it well, actually maybe going too far in the opposite direction. but growing up as a fat kid i always lacked self confidence. it wasn't until i was around 25 did that change.

my friend was a cop at the time and had to go to the funeral of another cop who dropped dead in his 30's, heart attack. guy was in great shape but had lots of stress. i made a decision there and then to be more outgoing. i stopped feelinmg sorry for myself and started believing that i was awesome and deserved good things.

Yes, he mis-spelled the name, but I am not OCD enough to point it out

If I am Cag's brother, would that make Jenn my sister?

Of course, that makes no sense to those who don't know my RL name...which is not the oddest fact about me until you know my mom's maiden name.

Sarge, the hospital gave me a morphine machine after my C-section with Magickmaker. I maxed out my dosage in a hurry and was still uncomfortable. Finally the nurse came in and asked me if I wanted some Tylenol III, and I said yes -- and after I took that, I felt much, much better. So for me, codeine is good and morphine is pretty much useless. It must be an inherited metabolic thing, as my brother has the same problem.

Pfft... I'm sure someone'll get an e-mail about it sometime, if so.

Pfft, the not speaking for a year is pretty normal, I think.

Kinda amazing that the human minds of small children can work out which words go into which language from practically the get-go, though.

But of course, that marvelling is from me on "the outside"...

I guess that puts me out in left field. I am very sensitive to drugs. I've had a couple surgeries and they gave me something with codeine and I took one and I was so blitzed I couldn't stand it. I threw the rest away.

I weigh about 180 lbs and I need to take medicines as if I weigh 300+ or they won't touch me. Except Benadryl. If I even smell that stuff, I'll sleep like a baby.

Ditto. My orthopedist can't believe that I can get pain relief from a quarter of a percocet tablet. An eighth, even!

Benadryl is another med that I break into little tiny bits. Or get children's liquid and take a fraction of a dose.
