sgt.null is actually a bot built by aTOMiC to annoy dAN. Version 1.0 was written in BASIC and called Dennis R Wood. It's evolved since then, but it's still buggy. Sometimes it posts things like "Cheese believes Spiderman expects violin". But I think that's because its database was infected by an Anonymous virus when they tried to steal it and build a zombie worm to attack Google with. Anyway, about every other day, sgt.null sweeps Mallorys. I've come to think of it as an "all's well with the world" kind of thing.

WF, I sincerely hope Julie (MrsNull) never reads your post above. I know she is convinced Sarge is real...and she is fond of him to the same unbridled extent that dAN distains him.

DotD, we all had the pleasure of meeting Sarge and Julie at Elohimfest and we really missed Wayfriend's presence. So, in regard to the Nulls, Santa says it best (in the M&M commercials) "They DO Exist!!"

Initially, I deployed Mister Fixit in an effort to fix the Dennis R Wood problem. But all Fixit did was to provoke Wood into becoming the null, doubling what we were already forced to endure. Then I tried to invent the anti-null, in hopes that it would counter the effects of the null. Unfortunately, the anti-null, being what it was, never posted anywhere, so in that I was successful, but did not achieve the results I was hoping for. I'm in the process of creating the counter-null, which will hopefully offset the effects of the null. If that fails, I'm going to commit my efforts to something simpler, like ridding the earth of cockroaches.

Null was created by my ego to massage my music taste. It devolved from vespers to mallorys. Sorry but serves you all right!

Null was spawned by the desires for revenge on the cosmos that lay in the collective unconscious of the M'allory, a now extinct race of winged humanoids that once lived on Earth's moon. Null is a nihilist and destroyer.

Null first became known to humans when it terrorized the town of Christian Hollow. There, it battled and was defeated by the Watch.

Null next possessed Dennis R Wood, and battled the original dANdelion.

Behind the scenes, Null enabled the Waymeet to take over the Watch of Earth-S and defeat the Watch Supreme. Alongside the Zen Men, Null battled the Watch of Earth Prime and the Watch of Earth S, and then drained the Watch's psychic powers. However, when the good of M'allory's was reawakened, Null ceased to exist and was seemingly destroyed.
