ocho does seem to be a step behind, i'd rather his catches go to edelman. and when are we going to see the wide receiver option with edelman?

Bah!! The Patriots problem [for those who are big fans] /weakness [for everyone else to take advantage of] is that:
BRADY GOT A HAIRCUT THAT LOOKS KINDA LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER, ONLY EVEN LESS MANLY!
Seriously, long hair can be cool depending on other things... but that cut makes "Flock of Seagulls" look ready to rumble.

More real, though: I'd give Ocho harder/longer study time, significantly more practice reps, and a few more games, cuz I think COULD be deadly.

After that, well...some things just don't work well together.

Vraith, I do believe you are correct. An issue Tom has addressed since the game.

Patriots QB Brady debuts new haircut

(Yes, Tom Brady's haircut is a news story all on it's own.)

and how bout the Falcons? seems that when you have a defense and an o-line that need upgrading, trading away most of your draft for a wide out may not be the smartest thing in the world.

. As one of the immediate beneficiaries of said trade, I must breathe a sigh of relief that not only did the Browns not take the bait on J.Jones, but they also picked up half a roster of selections in next years draft including Atlantas number one. ..... Say it with me, Superbowl!

Well, they did need a threat there. I thought maybe they had another plan to deal with the rest.
My amateur thought: one stud muffin at tackle, and the rest start playing even average instead of bad changes everything for them...but probably only enough to get to the playoffs.

I'll say 2 things about the Browns , they never quit because they never started, and at least they didnt gag away a fourth quarter lead. Titans fans thats one dirty, cheap shotting team you got there. Congratulations on your win you should be proud.

Detroit = Legit. That said they need to focus on competing early.

Well, at least they make good use of their running back

Saints looked exactly as they should have. methodical in their win. other than Drew's two ints, not much to complain about.

and Will Smith's return resulted in two sacks for him - nice.

I've given up on the Eagles. Resorting to my 2nd tier teams, Lions and Patriots. Pats however remind me a lot of Eagles, porous defense and no running game. Some semblance at least this week, but Eagles have shown such flashes many times, it never lasts.

And the Lions won't always be able to come back from 20+ pt deficits.

Well, Vince Wilfork is now averaging about 25 yards per carry ... :)

Agreed. The team already hates the new coach.
In sundays game Colt McCoy had over 300 yards passing, and broke 2 team records , one for most passes received, and one for most passes thrown. All those passes led to nowhere while Hillis only touched the ball ten times, even though he was in on more than 50 plays. After the game it seemed like the only quote that could be gotten from any member of the team in that dead silent tomb, of a locker room was " Talk to the Coach". They hate him.
It wasnt all his fault though, no if I had to pick a play that ruined the Browns chances of a win it would have to be S. Usama Young's blown tackle ( Im not sure you could even call it a tackle attempt) on TE Jared Cook. Even Titans fans would have to acknowledge that Young had cook dead to rights , a simple push would have sent Cook out of bounds , and prevented a touchdown. But as Young approached Cook he seemed to go blind, or get dizzy, or fall into a worm hole, Im not sure . All it would have taken was a simple push, that never happened.
So the team hates the coach, the fans hate the Coach, and Young, and the whole country hates us . All is well, or at least normal in Cleveland.

i wasn't sad about Young leaving the Saints. and for this reason, he looks great until it comes time to finish the play.

Falcons really need some work on their offensive line. They did make some adjustments that seem to have helped... but only time will tell. But definitely Matt Ryan has got to spend less time on his back.

J.Jones - He is good and the Falcons need to hit him deep more often. After he makes a few of those kind of plays, defenses will start double covering him which leaves them open to run plays and such. The other thing is the Falcons have got to mix it up more. They are incredibly predictable. Which is why when they go to the no-huddle offense they tend to move the ball more effectively.

The other thing they have done wrong this year is be penalized. Last year they led the league with only 16 penalties all year. This year they had 13 in two games. Penalties turn '3rd and short' into '3rd and long' or even 3rd and impossible. Which is making it hard for them to convert to a first down and of course from there to get good field position.

They have to work on their red zone on offense. They are great at getting to the red zone but then they have to settle for a field goal. If they want to be a contender they have to be able make TD's and not get stonewalled at the line.

Defense. They arent getting the sacks they should be. They are getting through other offensive lines and then just falling off of quarterbacks or missing entirely. The secondaries are getting mis-led too often by the pump fake and leaving receivers open... last year they were great at reading QB's and making interceptions. Not sure what the issue is this year.

My complaint with the Ravens is the same as last year.....Play 60 minutes of football. They looked unbeatable against the Squealers week one, then dropped a stupid game to the Titans, looked good against the Rams (who wouldn't), then had a bipolar game against the Jets.

I was pissed when they let Todd Heap go, now I'm all like, "Todd who?".

cail - Flaco has to be frustrating. looks like he needs Heap (his security blanket) but we may see a different Joe when Evans comes back healthy.

sb - the falcons o-line is atrocious and may well get Matty killed.
