Falcons finally played 4 decent quarters of football and came up with a win. Now if they can just keep that going. I put all of that on NOT having Julian Jones on the field. Without him there, they went back to running the ball and eating up clock. That's how we got to the playoffs last year. They need to get back to that. Send the ball to Julian when you see him open down-field but don't rely on explosive pass plays for your entire game.

Tebow Time! Tebow rallies Denver from late 15-point deficit to beat Miami 18-15 in OT

Fans chanted Tim Tebow's name in derision. They hooted as he missed open receivers, got buried under blitzes and kept falling short on third down.

Then he led an improbable comeback that became the latest chapter in the legend of Tebow.

In his first start this year, Tebow rallied the Denver Broncos with two touchdown passes in the final 2:44 of the fourth quarter to force overtime, and Matt Prater's 52-yard field goal gave them an 18-15 win Sunday over the stunned Miami Dolphins.

all he does is give the Broncs a chance to win whenver they play him...

Actually, a loss for Miami is like a win.

Tebow is the anti-Newton. Newton looks great, but just isn't winning. Tebow looks terrible, and gets the win, and almost did in sub work last week.

The Browns head out west to play the #4 ranked 49'ers this week, and although Im not holding my breath for a win here Im hoping they can at least hang. I also wouldnt mind seeing Braylon Edwards looking out his earhole after a couple of plays. A fitting welcome to the leagues pseudo-star.

Here we are again. Every season, twice a season I get to hear about the 2 cities , teams, and fan bases that I hate most, playing in the most heated rivalry in the NFL. What a crock ! I will never , ever forgive the city of Baltimore for stealing my team, or its legacy, and every time I hear about this fraud of a rivalry, I will scream to the hill's about the injustice of it all. If you are a fan of the Ravens you are worse than a thief you are a betrayer of every true fan, of every team.
While those of us here in Cleveland have had to deal with the constant poaching of our pro-sports teams by other cities, no theft, or crime against us will ever compare to this crime you have comitted Baltimore. If there is any justice in this world ( which there doesnt seem to be ) you would never win another game , and the Ravens would be sold right out from under the city), until then the Cleveland faithful will have to settle for never, ever allowing Art Modell ( Father of Lies, Carpet Bagger, and Sheister) from ever seeing his bust in the Hall of Fame. Small compensation.

Patriots lost two in a row.. I wouldn't have thunk it. In a nail biter I thought the Pats had brought home the bacon but the Chargers in a min 30 were able to drive to a score. A very close game.

Falcons won against the win-less Colts as expected. The catch by Julio Jones was one of the best catches ever... ruled a incomplete pass on the field it was overturned in the challenge. Next week will be fun because they play the Saints.... One of the few games that I will get to see so I hope they can bring home a win. The Saints will be hard to beat but then the Lions were expected to win the other week as well and the Falcons beat them. We will see.

Do you mean the Giants? The Chargers played the Packers.

Bah... I hate it when I try to post while working.. yes I meant Giants. I was working on a data problem when I was writing that post.... got my games mixed a bit.

But I did watch part of the GB and Chargers game and I really thought the Chargers were going to take GB down.... A high scoring game..and a fun one to watch.

That already happened to them in '83; certainly you haven't forgotten the Baltimore Colts? Still, I feel your pain. It took Tampa decades to get an expansion MLB team, and it seems they've been talking about moving the team the whole time they've been in existence.

I havent forgotten the Baltimore Colts, nor have I forgotten that there were several key differences in situation. Suffice it to say that the League should have stepped in, kept the Browns in Cleveland, and stuck Baltimore with the crappy expansion team.
When someone screws me over I try to learn the lesson, but I never use it as an excuse to screw someone else. Baltimore should have known better. I guess asking for common decency, is asking too much.

Tebow does it again - this time running a college offense.

Patriots biggest issue may be that Brady is too content in life and just can not bring it like he used to.

Well, Brady is certainly getting more expensive, which affects who Kraft can get to fill out the rest of the team. So Brady keeps losing people he likes to throw to. Gronkowski is a pleasant surprise, but Ochocincos happen too. Eventually this has to catch up to you - you lose the adaptability of youth. Thank god they haven't tossed Welker yet.

Here are the sad facts.

- Baltimore lost the Colts because they refused to do anything about Memorial Stadium, and when Bob Irsay got fed up and started looking for other interested cities, the City of Baltimore threatened to seize the team via eminent domain. Irsay took off like a thief in the night in order to avoid losing his investment. Baltimore lost the team name and colors.

- Cleveland lost the Browns because of stadium issues as well. However they were allowed to keep the team name and colors, legally the Ravens were an expansion team, and the Browns had a three year period of "inactivity".

Both deals sucked for different reasons, but for Colts and Browns fans, it really doesn't matter.....They both lost the teams that they cared about and spent time and money on. The difference is that fathers in Cleveland can give their sons their old Browns jerseys, fathers in Baltimore can't do that with their old Colts jerseys.

What it's like to be a Browns fan.

cail - that was a great vid. "you are a factory of sadness..." classic.

wf - Welker is amazing, i keep trying to trade for him on Madden. lol. how he keeps catching all those passes when everyone knows he is the target is beyond me. nice to see the Pats cut Fat Albert - that man just fell into a money pit. wish it would happen to me.
