Cosmological horror meets high camp in the fantastic "Karaoke Vampyres" set to premier HALLOWEEN NIGHT!
We are working around the clock to complete, assemble and render this film for your spooky ooky late night, bored out of your skull thrills!
The premier will take place at a commune in an abandoned mall in Ruidoso, and since most, if not all of you do not live in Ruidoso, it will be "simulcast" on the internet!
I will be uploading the video, but will be out of the house, hosting the premier and therefore will be unable to provide you with a direct link...
however, you can check on my youtube channel, where it will be uploading while I set up chairs, brew Yerba Mate, make speeches, and welcome the world to the new face of the vampire movie!

you didn't miss anything. this was one of the worst failures I've had in my career.
We spent six hours trying to get our varuious devices to display the DVD.
After behaving like an ass and weeping as I read poetry and confessing that my daughter had betrayed and abandoned me, we go it to play in a sickly green monochrome with audio coming only from Phyllie's laptop speakers.
We never completed the screening. Too many people left.
I actually contemplated deleting everything.
When the one thought that has kept you alive is knowing your daughter would never be happy with a dad who killed himself, it really sucks to discover it would have made no difference because her heart has turned cold in her self centered angst.
The poem is by a good and holy Irishman who was archdeacon at Clonfert cathedral until he resigned his orders to follow the Baha'i faith.
This man, George Townshend had several children who died in infancy...
While they are at your side, love these little ones to the utmost.
Forget yourself: serve them; care of them; lavish all your tenderness upon them.
Value your good fortune while it is with you and let nothing of their babyhood go unprized.
Not for long will you keep the happiness that now lies in your reach.
You will not always walk in the sunshine with a little soft hand nestling in each of yours, nor hear little feet pattering beside you and eager baby voice questioning and prattling of a thousand things with ceaseless excitement.
Not always will you see that trusting face upturned to yours, feel those little arms about your neck and those tender lips pressed upon your cheek, nor will you have that tiny form to kneel beside you, and murmur baby prayers into your ear.
Love them and win their love and shower on them all the treasures of your heart.
Fill up their days with happiness and share with them their mirth and innocent delights.
Ere you are aware, it will be gone with all its gifts for ever.

George Townshend, Hands of the Cause of God.
From the book "Mission of Bahá'u'lláh

I wept openly. my mother, who shared this with me long ago, was present.
I have had darker, more misanthropic and nihilistic thoughts tonight than I have ever had-- and that's saying something!
share with Julie and your whole family.
God bless you, Dennis.

I watched half of it last night on the iPad in bed. I fell asleep, not because it wasn't awesome, but because I was very tired! I got to the part where they were going to have some of the old food. So far, I loved it. And, whoever is playing Dr. Vivaldi needs an award.

I watched the rest of the film. Actually, I started it again from the beginning. This time, I watched it on the TV and had the sound going through the stereo so I could hear it a bit better.

I really liked it. I enjoyed the background music a lot. The effects were fun and the story was fun.

My only complaint is that it was too short. I was interested in more story. Also, the dialogue was too difficult to hear in some parts and I couldn't follow what they said.

I would love to see more from you guys. It was awesome.

thanks, The audio wasn't always the best and I didn't think we'd make it even 30 minutes. In the sequel we will see Dr. Vivaldi experiment with "meduna's mixture" to be swept into the world of the neanderthal to deal with the conflict between "the howlers," "the shanidar people" and "the cyani."
I intend to put several TC elements in the sequel, since it is about transport to another world and since Dennis is a Donaldson fan like me!
1. a street person will accost Vivaldi before his transition. This will later be revealed to be "the supreme being."
2. the Shanidar people will be very much more in tune with the earth than homo sapiens.
3. Part of the Shanidar people's technology is a computer formed of vegetable matter-- in the form of an all powerful staff.
4. The troop of fighters that Vivaldi quests with are "mountain fighters."
the third film will feature "prophet" kidnapping Lilly Mae and attempting to revert her to human.
Sarco has raised a doomsday Vampyre cult and someone resembling Odauntutaunt will have discovered the "Yellow Crown Sceptre..." This person has no memory of who he really is, but Sarco attempts to wrest the sceptre from him-- with a twist ending!
We are also hoping to get a studio with green screen and do a parody called "Hippy Star Wars" that will feature "Lava the Lamp" "Obi Wan McKenna" "the Jefferson Falcon" "Rainbow Californian" and "the planet Tofu-waine" as well as the ever menacing "Grand Funk Trakin" master of the "solid gold star."

I'm looking forward to the next installments, then, Mr Shroom. I was thinking about the one I just saw now and had a question. The radio caller makes predictions about different colours that will represent phases. Were they there and I missed them, or did those colours to represent phases didn't show up in the story yet?

And, as for the sequel, is Dr Null going to show up to shoot the movie?

null- correct, next summer when he get's vacation
"green radiation summons hells horsemen with his radar"
Odauntutaunt sings radar love
"Blue radiation, howling at the moon" the scene before "Green Manalishi where I howl at the moon."
"red radiation when he will massacre the not so innocent"
massacre scene-- the natural lighting of the bar appears red on camera.
"Yellow radiation when he will regain his sceptre"
prevented by the Strong One who destroys, or seems to destroy Odauntutaunt with moonbeams!

Oh, duh. I let that slip right by me! I see it now.
