Halfhand sightings

Post by Shuram Gudatetris »

I saw this photo on a box of raisin bran, and couldn't help myself. I wanted to share it with some folks who would appreciate it.

Then I thought it might be fun to have a thread dedicated to sights which reminded us of things/people from our favorite books. I hope you like it.

I don't know if anyone saw the "halfhand" on the Raisin Bran....

But to keep the spirit of the thread alive, I saw this and could not help but think of the Chronicles!

I don't remember a scene in the chronicles where Linden and Thomas ate a pile of ur-vile droppings from a plate. Was that in the deleted chapters that was later sold as a stand alone book?

Yes. Along with the scene where Covenant cones his abundant chest hair, and attempts to lure Galewrath into the hammock with his white gold pepsodent smile. Also the very detailed angsty bishounen slash scenes between Vain and Findail. What's everyone's favorite 'missing chapter'?

Gross!! You guys are sick. I would never fantasize about Linden possessing Covenant and having a good shag with him like he deserves, but if a chapter had been written...

Sorry. That was pretty awful, I'll admit it.

Umm maybe this ur-vile product's something like civet coffee?
Or, who knows, maybe this is actually the origin of mämmi.

if such a chapter had been written it would have ended with either thomas whining about impotence and wandering off to pout or with him raping her.

I disagree, I think it would solve a lot of their problems. Having himself been raped, it would assuage a lot of his guilt, especially since she can do no wrong in his eyes.

I had heard about monkey-poo coffee, but not the civet stuff. I'm sorry, if it's already been eaten it is completely off the menu for me. Maami doesn't look so bad... as long as it's not recycled, either.
