So I bought some St. Vincent albums based on a few songs on youtube. Listening to Strange Mercy for the first time right now, and it is drawing me in much more than Actor has. This is a pretty damn good album.

Just had my mind blown by first listen to a favourite song by one of my favourite bands (from 9yo+)
backed by a full orchestra
Horslips & The Ulster Orchestra 'Sword of Light'

Interesting music, but I prefer Pierre Moerlen's Gong with Allan Holdsworth.

Steve Hillage is an eternal source of inspiration for me - guitaringwise. AH plays guitar like a piano keyboard - way over my head. Having said that I can always enjoy a Holdsworth song.
Just keeping it simple these days...ah, well, lazy lazy really.

Ballroom Blitz - The Sweet
Heard this song on the radio yesterday. The fuzzy guitars sound pretty good for 1973.
