That spider needs a name.

Am trying to break her of the habit; it's cute now, but it's gonna get annoying. She had some separation anxiety issues the first couple of days and wouldn't let me out of her sight, but she's settled in now.

I can think of a few ways to get rid of a cat.

Less, if you want her to come back. :P

If I get another tom cat, I think a good name would be "Shaft". Que the beat and Issac Hayes' voice. "They say this cat Shaft is a bad mother…."

I just found it who said that line was Telma Hopkins, who played Isabelle on Bosom Buddies back in the day. A weird bit of trivia.

For some reason, my own trivia brain is trying to tell me Telma Hopkins was half of Dawn, as in Tony Orlando and..., but I'm not taking the time to search at the moment. If so, she was probably already involved in the recording industry at the time Shaft was recorded. Wasn't she also in Family Matters as the sister to the mother of the family?

Right on both counts, Menolly. Telma was in Tony Orlano & Dawn, and in Family Matters.

She will also voice a character in the upcoming Monsters Inc. 2 movie.

'Computer' translates in Cat as 'arse warmer'. The person who decided it was a bright idea to put the power button on top deserves to be slapped upside the head.

:LOLS:

I am currently at capacity cat-wise in terms of space and budget, but if that situation changes I will certainly consider it. Jherek is my only boy kitty, and I suppose I could stick him with a middle name, but I think Jherek Carnelian is already a long enough handle for the little guy. It's actually a wonder that none of my original brood ended up with Gap names.

Min's full name is Minerva Josephine, which is also a nod to Professor McGonagall and one of my favorite non-canon Star Trek characters. I was challenged to name her after a non-tragic character, and hey, I named her after 3. :P

I saw a bald eagle on my way to the eye doctor yesterday (first one ever IRL! amazing!). So I grabbed my camera and went eagle hunting today. I got a glimpse of one, but couldn't find him after I got my car off the highway. I did find this creature later in the day, though. Some sort of gull I suppose, as he was fishing at the lake. Not quite as sharp as I would have liked, but I need new glasses bad, and I thought it was in focus.

Gorgeous colours in that photo Linna.

Ah.. anyway... I came here to post this picture, but before you look at it, you all have to say, in your best primary school pantomime voice, at exactly the same time, "It's behind you!"
