Really? I never pictured him on the radio. But North to Alaska was good.

I just have an old cassette tape. :)

Damn I so need a new top 10.
In no order:

-Comfortably Numb; Wish You Were Here, Pink Floyd
-The Love Song, The Cure
-Riders on the Storm; When the Music's Over; Strange Days, all by the Doors (I couldn't just pick one of their songs! LOL)
-Today; Soma; The End is the Beginning is the End; 1979, all by Smashing Pumpkins
-Aneurysm; About a Girl; the Man Who Sold the World, Nirvana
- Help!; Something; Come Together, the Beatles

Ahh and so many more. I can't pick just ten as demonstrated by my rule-breaking, yet incomplete, list above.

Hey, I thought I was the only one!

I love their music! I have everything DA ever recorded. And all Terry Scott Taylor's solo stuff, plus most of what he's produced for other artists.

We'll have to compare collections; I know I have something you don't because TST never released it, and all the DA, Swirling Eddies, and TST, but I don't think I have all the Lost Dogs.

8O Now you have me intrigued! What do you have that he didn't release, and how did you get your paws on it?

I also have all Swirling Eddies, but I'm missing a couple of Lost Dogs albums. Oh, and there's one DA track I haven't been able to get hold of - 'Orphans of God' from the Mark Heard tribute album. And I don't have 'The Revelation', but that's basically a remix of the second half of 'Shotgun Angel' afaik.

If you remember back in '78, they signed on Larry Norman's label, and recorded Horrendous Disk, which sat in limbo for almost 3 years due to disagreements between them and Larry. The original bassist quit, but before he did, they contemplated going mainstream, and recorded ten tracks; maybe more, but all I have are ten. Anyway, they decided against going mainstream, but somebody got hold of those tracks and made copies for a few friends. I happen to be a friend of one of those friends. I haven't talked about it because I didn't want to make Terry angry, but I've seen some of those tracks mentioned on his site, so I'm assuming the cat's out of the bag. And, I doubt Terry's ever been on this site, anyway.

I'm interested to know if some of those are maybe the tracks that landed up on the compilation Shirley, Goodness and Misery - i.e., So Certain, Little Things, Off My Mind and possibly Fairy Tale? The last is noted as an outtake from Horrendous Disk, but the other three are just noted as being demos recorded in 1981, which seems to fit.

I don't think so, but now that you mention it, I don't have Shirley, Goodness and Misery...at least, not yet.
