Lots of Mists of Pandaria info released today. Some interesting things.
Seven zones in the new continent.
9 level 90 Heroic dungeons.
At least 5 Scenarios at launch. (Like an instanced group quest you queue for.)
Three raids with 14 bosses total. All will have LFR available.
Loot in LFR mode will be rolled for person-by-person rather than having a few items drop and then be rolled between everyone. You roll, if you win you get an item from the loot table relevant for your spec, so long as that boss has a relevant item in its loot table.
Valor points will be used for upgrading the ilevel of existing gear rather than buying new gear.
And that's just the general stuff. There's a lot of info on all the zones and dungeons, factions, dailies, Monk class, etc...
Blizzard have also detailed out the storyline for the expansion, probably because so many people kept going on about what the final enemy would be.
STORYLINE SPOILERS
In 5.0, the Horde and Alliance arrive in Pandaria. As small expeditionary forces, in the first zone they use two local races as proxies, a race of fish-men fighting for the Alliance against monkey-men armed by the Horde.
The Cataclysm caused the mists that defended Pandaria to lift, and the launch content is all about exploring Pandaria and uncovering the 10,000 year old mystery behind what's threatening it. By the end of the opening raid tier, those threats will be defeated, and Pandaria will be saved.
But it's too late, because...
In patch 5.1, your backup arrives. The full force of the Alliance and Horde armies makes landing on the continent, and with the external threats already defeated, this sets the stage for all-out war.
The rest of the expansion follows the rapidly escalating conflict between the two sides, culminating in the final raid of the expansion: the Siege of Orgrimmar.
In the last content patch of MoP, the Alliance and Horde both lay siege to the city of Orgrimmar to bring down Garrosh Hellscream once and for all.

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

I did sign up for the Annual Pass. Haven't checked my email/account yet today. I don't usually bother with beta. I have enough characters to run through the content when it goes live, I don't want to get sick of it before it even starts.
So, I got this helm:
And now I'm thinking about trying to farm up a Worgen Wonder Woman outfit.

You know, despite the big talent overhaul, it actually looks like this expansion is going to have fewer class changes than any of the previous ones. They're changing the systems, the stats, and all that, but they're doing very little to change how the game actually plays.

After having declining attendance for the last month or so, the guild has suspended raiding until Mists of Pandaria. We were still stuck at 5/8 heroic, since we'd had very little time to work on Blackhorn with the attendance stuff.
Need to find something to do instead of raiding for a few months...
I'm gonna try to make it to raids this week, but I'm on jury duty and getting home later than I would from work. And then it's a matter of getting my monitor to function, which can take a while. Might be late.
